I love their answers to "what is your level of porn consumption". Only 1 person answered it properly (no I don't count "ehm like, none?" as a proper answer).

OP this is actually the Gear VR, not the Oculus Rift (even though the title of the video says Oculus). Now if you excuse me I need to go get a Note 4 and the VR headset.

I don't think watching porn makes you lonely and desperate. However, I wouldn't recommend buying a rift solely for the purpose of porn

Because sex is taboo and extreme violence isn't on our society.

 

Its easier for a sex scene to be censored on a movie than a dudes head blowing up.

What's wrong with pandering to lonely people? Not that porn would be any sort of cure for loniless, in the same way that getting a hooker wouldn't be a cure, but I'm curous to why you feel the way you do.

I can see plenty of people buying it solely for that purpose. The consumer version is rumored to be about 300 dollars and I am sure there are plenty of people with toys for more than that.

Doesn't more highly educated people have less children and get them later in life compared to "dumb" people? Pretty sure I read an article about a study done on that.

I don't think this will prevent Snezhana Nataliya (picked at random) from getting her 5th child despite living in a 1 room apartment and being unemployed and not having enough time to even take care of her previous 4 children.

It might make someone else focus on his/her career more though, and seek less physical contact with a partner. Japan already have huge issues with the declining birth rate because their people have already been able to emulate all the best parts of a relationship, without all the inconveniences. I think this might become an issue in the west as well.
