My Monitor (Oled TV) got weird

leclod

So I was troubleshooting the HDD connected to my TV when my display got weird.

Colors washed out, writings blurry, pictures looking like drawings...

So I first focussed on PC because my TV was still displaying TV channels (rather) normally.

Long story short, by mistake I did erase the connection between TV and PC and when I reinstated it I forgot to set it as PC source.

Does everybody, using a TV as monitor, know they've got to set the signal as "coming from a PC" ? (well, maybe nowadays TVs can sense that)

I'm willing to swim against the current.

It's different for every brand. What brand and model is your TV?

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Hm, that's a few generations older than my LG models. I hope it's not too different from my C9, so here goes: You need to open the home dashboard, go to input selection, then there should be 3 dots in the top right corner to edit. Then click on the HDMI icon of the port you're using and select PC as your input device.

Yeah,

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I did it already.

The problem was finding the cause not curing the cause.
