What is in stock at Newegg right now?

Picked up a Next Level stand for the racing wheel. It wasn't exactly stable attached to the desk:

I'm using it on the 1800dpi setting and it's a big difference, going higher is just way too much ZOOM ZOOM. I do like the slow toggle on the side for precision pointing.

I've started to figure out this whole Adult thing. Impressive I know.

Decided to buy some decent quality cookware, as I'm actually cooking alot now. And holy hell is it expensive. But atleast it's got a lifetime warranty.

Cooking and jamming out to random music in the kitchen is probably my favourite past-time right now. I've actually dragged my PMC Fact.12's in to the kitchen, much to the annoyance of my S/O.

Picked this up today for $20. After many weeks of waiting for a good deal to pop up. It's amazing how different toner cartridge prices and lifespans vary from printer to printer. Definitely needs a bit of research to get the most for your money.

I decided to hop on some Le Creuset stuff because it's both a "Buy for life" item, and I've got quite a few fond memories of cooking with family with some Le Creuset pans, which have become one of many heirlooms. I think it'll be worth the money in the long term.

Finally got my new MP3 player. Oddly, it came with a necklace as well, which I gave to my mother.

The volume dial has a very slight wiggle to it, but apparently it's the same with all AP80s. Other than that I love the design, weight, and once I actually get around to loading a microSD with music, hopefully sound.

If only it was the Ultimate. Have you used it yet? Almost bought one myself today.

How does that have almost 4,000 pieces?

What's the model of that screwdriver set? Looks nice.

I saw the kit and searched google for one ASAP. Order is on the way. 😛 Nanch H1B Ultimate 55 in 1 Precision Screwdriver Set

Thank God that this webcam works with thin bezels.

I was kind of worried that it might overlap the screen but it seems like that is not the case at all!

well that's neat.

I made the mistake of buying a cheap screwdriver once, I was working on a camera, bridged the flash capacitor to discharge it and turned out it had a lot of current left in it. Very loud pop, and there’s a burn mark on that screwdriver to this day where I touched it to the negative lead.

Honestly, not worth the price though.  I did give into scalping and had a 3090 for development and sold it for a fair price for a few reasons.  It helped pay for a few things.  Went back to a VII for now, but I'm waiting out for a card with HBM3.  I know if I go Nvidia, I'll probably need a Quadro and knowing AMD they'll slap it on their high end/s and whatever they name their next pro cards.  I was getting into AI development and doing a lot of rendering.

The RTX A6000 isn’t as offensively priced as some older Quadros, the Quadro 7000 was like $15,000 at launch around 2012 (pretty sure that’s the year?)

Recently scored on Newegg Shuffle, was able to grab a 3090, it was paired with a X570 Workstation motherboard so I'm currently in the process of selling that and I also had to upgrade my case in order for the card to fit in my rig and also decided to snag a new cooler as my 240mm recently started having the pump get sluggish and temps started to get a lot hotter, my custom cables only had two pcie 8pin connectors so I had to order an extra one that I have not received yet. Specs are in my signature but I'll still list the new parts.

I've used the method of buy a cheap tool for something I'm not doing often, then if I end up using it alot, I'll upgrade it. But stuff I know I'm gonna be using alot, is life dependent, or is under alot of stress, I'll always buy good quality tools.

Using this method, I've amassed cheap tools for stuff like banging crown races onto bike forks, setting star nuts etc. Then I've got expensive tools for stuff I'm doing constantly. Such as Abbey Bike Tools for bearing presses, pedal wrenches, hammers etc. and Park Tool for stuff like allen/hex wrenches.

Another thing I've learnt is getting a good breaker bar on cars. I managed to bend an Ebay special bar on my 911. Apparently 700Nm is alot.

Just got this thinkpad L380, probably the best built laptop I've ever had, the laptop itself is very sturdy and feels great. Not to mention that it's in pristine condition, worth every penny of the 300£ I paid for it, plus it still has 10 months warranty.
