I was not really expecting to buy a new graphics card...but since it was at the Micro Center down in Georgia as my family and I went down for a wedding, I just had to stop there.

EDIT: Also, I really thought I was going to pass out when deciding on getting it or not, as it was like a Free-for-All there or a shark tank circling the last one left.

The big lines are an effect of the camera and are not visible in person. The glare is from flash because the office has horrible lighting.

I think it's brand new. Came in the sealed bubble wrap with part number tape.

Looks shiny.

Sweet I never saw it.  I'll check it out.  I've only been collecting about a year but I have spent the cost of a new car in Lego's in that period.  LOL

Oh, that is funny! I just got a new Apple TV 4k (Coming Friday) to replace my Fire TV Cube in my bedroom (Fire TV will be going in my living room)

It's a great device! Did you get the second gen? The first gen isn't bad, but the second gen is just stupidly fast!

2nd generation.

I have a 1st gen in my bedroom and I thought that was fast. Got my son a apple TV 2 years ago and that thing is fast. Might stick this in my game room since the TV is a older samsung that will not linstall disney plus and the gui is god awful slow.

Got me one of them 1440p monitors everyone talks so much about for the steep price of free thanks to my friend upgrading. Just a lowly Viewsonic VX2478-SMHD. No complaints other than the obvious fact that I have to run some games at 1080p on it (render scale in games should be a standard feature ffs), but thankfully 1080p doesn't look all that bad on here. The less obvious complaint is that there's something in the screen just off-center. It only takes up 2 pixels vertically, but boy oh boy when I notice it does it annoy me. Just gotta fast-track the upgrade to an XG27AQ. 😉

Finally got my new MP3 player. Oddly, it came with a necklace as well, which I gave to my mother.

The volume dial has a very slight wiggle to it, but apparently it's the same with all AP80s. Other than that I love the design, weight, and once I actually get around to loading a microSD with music, hopefully sound.

I've been using an Intelimouse or rebrands of it for about 20 years, this is different but it feels nice not having to lift my mouse to go side to side on the screen. It's got a lot more sensor than I've been using.
