Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Not clickbait at all, very accurate.

They're so inefficient that they're almost useless. I have one too becasue where I am I probably only need AC a week or 2 per year, but it's just enough to bring the temp down about 3°C in a pretty small room, AND I'm ducting the intake to the outside already.

Well this one cools down my garage and it's been hitting 85 degrees outside. Used it on my back patio with the shades drawn to enclose it and put a outdoor circulating fan in front of it. It got cold.

Haven't tried it in my living room (where it will be used when power goes down) but since this house is well Insulated it should be just fine for my use.

And yes it's clickbait.

Welp my boyfriend bought a laptop recently and I gave mine to my aunt a couple months so I needed something to replace it.
I finally have its replacement on order!

Since I'm selling my iPad very shortly and I've conceded the repair on my macbook pro so I will be parting that out and selling it very shortly I needed something!

Been on annual leave last week & a bit. Had a list of shit I wanted to do, one was to get a better wall bracket for my TV. So got one of these bad boys off a mate who works at JB HiFi, he did it for half retail price. Still expensive at $150, BUT the fact I can pull it out from the wall & it has proper locking tilt & swivel & shit is awesome, and well a $1,400 TV does deserve a decent wall mount. Now I just gotta find motivation to tidy up cables & figure out a shelving arrangement for the PS4 which is currently off to the left on my dresser. Also don't care if the sound bar & TV don't look level. It's a right pain the ass to work around my bed which is a king size bed in a room that should have at most a double..

This data print! (Was looking for one of data and his cat, but couldn't find a good one)

Data was one of the best parts of The Next Generation. This clip is the funniest thing in the whole span of TNG.

(Do not click this spoiler until after you watch the video above)

Spoiler

What makes that clip so funny is that it is human behavior he learned. He learned from humans what makes them want to commit "suicide". When you think about it, it's quite funny that even an android can come to the same conclusion.

While I've had white co-workers give me odd looks for it, eating chips/doritos/cheetos with chopsticks is a great way to keep your fingers clean while snacking at the keyboard.

Gotta love the open floating key design of the G915 TKL that i'm using. Just a bit of compressed air now and then and it's as good as new. As i pretty much eat all my meals at my computer too, i don't want a keyboard with resessed keys ever again.

So now i can finally get away with not washing my hands 🤫

Nvidia wouldn't sell me a GPU, so I said f*ck it and purchased a Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 6900 XT SE instead together with a LG UltraGear 27GL850-B monitor 🤔

Also, I'm a huge Nvidia fanboy, but getting an Nvidia card right now is hilariously difficult + Dr. Lisa Su is cute 💕

An i7 4790 for CAD$130, flat, no taxes, no shipping, via eBay.  It's for the PC in my signature that currently has an i5 4590.  That's a B85 board so no need for a K model.  I'm just doing a 'final upgrade' for it before I leave it alone for some years.  It's mostly for gaming and youtube in my bedroom on a 720p TV, so it's way overkill for that purpose.  I just wanted to max out the socket before leaving it.  I'll sell off the i5 4590 to make up some of the expense.  The PC in question more or less rivals an Xbox One X so I'll be content with it on a 720p TV.

Bought myself a new phone.
Samsung A52 4G.
It's not officially available in Canada, but is $200 cheaper than the 5G variant that Samsung decided we could have in NA. And frankly, I don't need 5G in my life. I have a cheap phone plan with only 250MB of data since everywhere I go has free WiFi (just enough data for use in case of emergency. I typically use less than 5MB per month), my care level for fast mobile data speed is at the lowest. I'm not seeing myself pay more than $15~$20 for a phone plan anytime soon, so next to no data for me.
No picture... F for old phone (A5 2017).

But this is the phone:

Spoiler

image.thumb.png.7d87dbc2676d06aa3ab314bc50d507b9.png

Quite pleasantly surprised it has Phone Call Recording in it. I thought it was getting phased out, but it works flawlessly. I can actually use WealthSimple App without it taking forever to open or search for stocks, now. I miss the physical button of my old phone, but I'll probably get used to this someday. I have no issue with the fingerprint sensor either.

Then I put this case on it
