Man Down!!!

1000w Cougar CMX ex mining rig psu died powering the V56 and ryzen 1700 folding in my daughter's pc.  Up and running again now with a spare 500w EVGA that will most likely die as well unless I keep the gpu in power saving mode.

My Gigabyte 2070 Super is slowly dying - actually since the last folding event I've been getting artefacts at above 90% power limit.

I've re-pasted for this folding event but a quick game on it last night indicated more damage may have been done this time around with some slight artefacting even at 90%.

I'm surprised I'm not failing WU's to be fair.

Might be time to take the plunge and get a discounted 30 series 🙂

RIP my good old EVGA SUPERNOVA 1000 G3.

You've been a perfect sketchy way to power my F@H adventures for a couple years, especially once the fan died and i had to stick a noctua in there. sad to see you go like this. I didn't even get to smell the magic smoke...

It's official. My Dell Precision T3500 is dead. I can't keep it running for more than a day without it crashing. It's already crashed twice this morning alone. In addition to the other BSOD messages I've gotten I finally got a CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT message, which basically confirms my suspicions.

RIP Dell Precision T3500. You weren't very efficient, and you certainly weren't very quiet, but I got a solid year of use out of you. Can't argue with that for a free computer.

Corsair CX550M

July 3rd 2018 - Nov 19 2022.

Came home to my main system being completly off. Shut the PSU off for 20 seconds, turn it back on, hit the power, saw the spark, heard the pop, smelled the smell that reminds me of those New years day poppers....

I have another dead part, although its not exactly mine.

One of my best friends occasionally lets his RTX2070 fold on my account and last sunday it just died. When the card is in the computer, it won`t even try to start up.

We replaced it with a used 2080 super.
