Anyway the only thing I ever used the site for is now gone so guess I'm never touching tumblr again.

Imageboards with or without forums should be the future, every thing with fans should have someone hosting one, really...

 

I work at the main MLP imageboard and we manage to really make a difference and help spread high quality art of it without much of the typical high corporate website rules involved, these things can grow a lot if well done and give at least some ground to people.

 

I know it is a bit of a different proposition but these usually do a much better work across the board of providing the art in the first

place, dividing by fandoms, like wikia does even, is a great way of over seeing it more effectively too.

 

I want to see this as a possibility to maybe people will find better alternatives than simply migrating to Twitter because that's next biggest thing around, innovation here might do every great good, specially at not remaining hostage of this kind of thing.
