Would USB-C hubs like this work in reverse?

tls123

Hi, the USB Hub on the picture is intended for use for Macbooks and Laptops with USB C ports (Input is From USB-C side ). I am wondering if such Usb Hubs works in reverse, I am planning to use the USB-C side as an output (Connected to my monitor) where the input would be from the HDMI (Connected on my Desktop Computer). I am un-educated regarding this topic and would really like to hear your advice. It is a rather weird setup for me as I am planning to use it for my KAMVAS 13 Drawing tablet w/screen as I suspect my 3 in 1 Cable is bad. I don't really have the budget to buy the 3 in 1 cable provided by HUION and can only squeeze enough to buy this particular HUB. Thank you very much!

Are you saying that your screen uses USB-C in?

no, that will absolutely not work that way, sorry.

You can try *just* a USB-C cable though:

USB C monitors aren't that uncommon anymore, they work really well.
