In Win Launches the A1, a mITX case.

The Benjamins
Quote

In Win, one of the most well known brands in cases especially the ultra high end enthusiasts, has today introduced to us its A1 series of PC enclosures, starting with a mini-ITX case that has the looks, transparency, and RGB goodness the majority of the market is looking for these days. Built from tempered glass and anodized aluminum, the design language for the A1 embodies the modern era, in a small package that can nonetheless hold up to 20 liters of PC hardware components, more than enough to fit most gamers builds.

In Win Introduces Mini-ITX Cases, A1 Series
In Win is known very well in the PC enthusiast world as being behind such well known cases such as the D-Frame, D-Frame Mini, H-Frame, S-Frame and the 909, they have earned their place at the table. Frankly while the cases they sell are very expensive, you also get craftsmanship not seen almost anywhere else. Now, on to the nitty gritty of the A1.

One cool thing is on the top is has a built in Wireless charger for phones in the center indicated by the circle.

I like the size, lighting and the tool-less glass panel, But i wish they had the wood top like it was first seen at CES.

It also comes with a 600w PSU (looks like a SFX), and has 4 120mm fan spots 2 on the bottom, 1 in the rear, and 1 on the side.

The volume is 21L,VGA Card Length: 300mm, CPU Heatsink Height :160mm, more info in the links below.

Will the GPU even breathe under that? Or is there a fan (that black shroud)

That base doesn't really fit with the case in my opinion. If it's removable then I like it. The case looks great otherwise.

Issue is that if it's removable, you may suffocate the you if it has its only air entry at the bottom.

I've honestly given up somewhat on SFF as far as mITX goes. I like mATX cases because it's not as huge, but still offers more than enough expandability for the prosumer.

I don't think it will be that costly the In Win 301 is about $60 and is a mATX case with a glass panel. I can see this around $80 to $100

I bet Steve from GN will love that case.

Well obviously I am biased but I'm a big fan of In Win. Mostly their Signature cases though, I don't really care about the lesser form factor.

Still, I kind of like the looks of it but that's In Win for you - not a 100% performer but more of an aesthetic statement.

Maybe but Asus is 1 of the 2 motherboard makers what works with their addressable RGB fans and lighting.

I have a fractal design mITx case with a sapphire r9 fury in it (with it's beefy cooler). From experience, it hurts slightly, but if it is well ventilated the hot air just gets pushed out. I created an air draft with one fan going in the case, then two fans directing air through the CPU heatsink, and a fan out. The GPU takes intake with 3 fans and the pressure makes the air get out through the last air outtake. It's certainly doable with imagination.
