My Thread Did Not Make It On The WAN Show When It Should Have

I know this will probably do nothing, but I just want to say that I am a little mad that the thread that I made about Logitech buying Astro didn't make it on the WAN show when it should have. Instead a repost by @DiaSin did. He posted his thread two whole days after mine, so I am just a little mad that I didn't make it on. I know this is kind of petty, but still I would of liked to get credit when it was obviously mine. Also it seems fishy that we both quoted and used the CNET article as our source. I'm not saying he ripped me off, but still a little odd. I mean if I could maybe just get an annotation about a correction in OP in that segment of the show that would work for me.

Telling him doesn't do anything, the post needs to be reported so a mod is aware...

Well like I said, I was on vacation and didn't see it so I couldn't have reported it. Others should have done that.

@Max_Settings Very weird for this to happen, but hopefully some moderators or the tagged fellows (minus yourself) can help you out (unless you somehow become a moderator between me posting this and you seeing it).

Dude, its such an irrelevant issue it doesnt matter. I made the post about AMDs 2 biggest launches in the last year, Polaris, and Zen/Vega, but I didnt get a shoutout. I didnt complain. Its such a small issue dude.

Yep, I've had my threads in the document but they end up not talking about them. Kind of disheartening the first time but not a big deal since it's not like we wrote our own professional articles or anything.

I know it is not a big deal. I said that in the post, but I thought I would just throw it out there to point out that maybe they should take 5 seconds to search and be sure that they are giving proper credit

Maybe they should honor you and make thumbnail of that WAN Show say Max_Settings instead of Intel? Mods trying to keep TN&R section clean is just because people like you get overhyped of their threads making it into WAN Show.

That being said - If you're only writing TN&R posts to get featured on WAN I'd suggest you stop. That isn't the point at all.

 

The mods do a very good job of keeping that section clean.

Yeah I understand mistakes happen. I am not making posts just to get on the WAN show. I didn’t even have the idea that I would make it on the WAN show at all until everyone commented and said that I would. I thought I would just throw this out there to point out that maybe you guys could do a little better job in checking the the original source. But that being said, I understand it was a mistake and am not that upset. I was just putting this out there.

We already do a pretty good job - thanks for voicing your concern and letting us know however.. But this rarely happens and we're not gonna catch everything

I want to say, as the one that made that post, I agree completely. As cool as it was to hear my name on the WAN show, I was wondering why it was my name and not yours. I do want to make it clear, especially to the admins (@Slick) that I did not do that on purpose. I even said myself in an edit of my post (within a couple of hours of my original posting I think) that it was an accidental repost, where I had missed the original posting by @Max_Settings when I was going back and checking to see if anyone had already posted the topic before posting it myself.
