refresh rate problem

I have the ROG Strix XG248Q and sometimes it goes from 240hz to 200hz. For example today after Windows update the refresh rate went to 200hz and the 240hz option disappeared, after I reset the monitor and pc a couple of times it finally showed the 240hz option. Any idea why this is happening and how can I fix it

Using HDMI or display port? 

 

Graphics update maybe?

I don't know how to update the monitor driver but my windows and GeForce experience is up to date
