I don't know the first thing about mining unfortunately. I really want to try it but I know I would probably f-up somehow and end up losing more money than I'd make.. Also idk how viable it would be with a 2080s

It's viable even on 1060 6gb at today's rate

 

It's not too hard, if you know how to tune your GPU, mostly to undervolt and overclock the VRAM

Nvidia cards don't need bios modding so there's none of that (3060 might need bios modding after it's broken but that's another story)

 

But do take note that some pools require minimum amount of money before you can withdraw

I totally agree with you!!! Unless I bought a pair in a brick and mortar store and know my size and I can get them cheaper online by ordering the same pair, it seems like a hassle with size uncertainty.
