GTA V artifacting problems on AMD GPUS

http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2015/04/14/grand-theft-auto-v-on-pc-suffering-from-artifacts-on-amd-cards/144421/

During our playthrough, there’s one apparent issue that’s sticking out that’s also being reported across the web. When playing GTA V with an AMD graphics card, if you have MSAA turned on (as low as 2x), the bottom right on the game will begin to artifact badly. For those who don’t know what artifacting is, it takes form on various ways, sometimes in models breaking to what looks like corruption engulfing the screen

This is a problem I have too , i thought it was just me .
If you use MSAA with AMD cards on this game even on the lowest level your game will either crash or start artifacting.

This persists with the latest AMD drivers.

FXAA is the only way to play the game decently , sadly if you own a AMD GPU.

This happens with the new AMD 15.4 beta driver.

Doesn't Happen with the 290(x) GPUS .

Looks like crap without 2x MSAA :(

But then it (presumably, I haven't played GTA V yet) with it on because of the artifacting :/

I've noticed some problems with shadows on my 970. Not sure if I would call it artifacting.

With everything on the loswest settings and 720p resoloution, the game still runs slow as fuck for me and loads textures very slow. I blame it on my CPU, but after reading this, it might as well be an issue with both GPU and CPU.

Good thing I picked up the GTX780 instead of the 290 when I had a choice between those two.

I can run GTAV very smoothly with Textures on Very High, Shader Very High, Grass on Very High and the rest High, Shadow on Softer and FXAA turned on with 4x MSAA.

CPU is a i7-4770.

Been doing 2x MSAA with my R9 290X and I got no problems?

Only odd thing I've seen is random bright flashes when its night time in the game. Changing settings doesn't seem to affect it. Its probably an issue that affects most people regardless of GPU.

You prolly havnet noticed it.

Its on the bottom right corner , affects almost every AMD card.

Im gonna try to use sweet FX for SMAA.

Is this with GTA V optimized beta driver? or older? This is like the most important information the article and this post is missing.

I don't know... it seems that this thread could have gone in the gaming section or even the GPU section... too much GTA V "news" on this section.

I see artifacting and textures that stretch across the map with MSAA off.
