@FakeKGB

Speaking of old games, any of the ones I gave you work? I came home and immediately found Quake4 of course, I would have gladly tossed that in as well.

I haven't had the time to try them yet, and I don't see myself having any time this weekend, unfortunately - I now have 2 projects to work on!

I spy some Socket 8 CPUs!

I think that's also a Socket 423 chip, along with some LGA775 ones. Are the AMD chips at the top AM2, AM2+, or AM3?

I even tried to find where II have my old amd K-6 3 cpus, but they might be stuffed away somewhere.

@FakeKGB

I didn't buy the card it's actually one that I had gotten from the recycler. It was a sound blaster live if memory serves, and I have a bunch of them. They were a pretty common card and yeah 15usd sounds about right for one from what I remember seeing on ebay.

Im glad you're having fun with your p3! Sounds like it's coming along nicely!

What was the pinnacle of DX9/Windows XP gaming setup? I remember windows 7 mode was hit and miss. Something like Sandy Bridge and 8800ultra?

I could inflate my own ego and say it'd (mostly) be what I aim to have my sidepiece be. The end goal is a 1055T (up from the Athlon II X2 260 that wheezes along), my 7950, and 8GB of RAM instead of the current 4GB. I'm obviously not running XP on it, but most games work fine anyways (and the ones that don't will run flawlessly on the A4 3300 parts I've got which do run XP).

Could you put all of your images in spoilers? There's a lot of pictures and they take up lots of space?

Also, which exact iMac model is it?

Cool, one of the later iSight models!
My iMac G5 is the 2 GHz 17" ALS model with a busted logic board. I bought a replacement, but the seller sent me the wrong one so I returned it 😞

Sorry to hear that you had to send it back. When I was younger, back when I used it I would make tons Movies in iMovie and burn them to DVDs.
