  1. I would but I'm low on funds at the moment. The 9250 works fine for now though!
  2. I am now selling my ASUS RT-AC1200 router for $25 + free shipping on eBay.

Shipping will be $7-10, so I'll make at least $15.

Which is exactly how much the MIDI to USB adapter I want to buy is!

      - Paypal fees - selling fees. At that point, why not sell it locally or not at all? What's the point?

    2. FakeKGB

No chance of selling locally. My area is not that kind of area.

Also, why sell? I don't have a use for it and I'd like to get some money from it.

    3. dizmo

I guess. Just doesn't seem worth it for what realistically is going to be about $10.

  3. I have a Pentium III build that runs Windows 2000. Pentium III Katmai 500 MHz 2x1GB PC133 SDRAM Radeon 9250 Windows 2000 Professional SP4 I also have some parts for a P4 build. Pentium 4 3.4 GHz Prescott ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe 2x1GB, 2x512MB DDR 400 RAM BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC AGP Ageia PhysX PPU Will be XP Pro 32-bit
  4. I found something similar on NewEgg for $15. https://www.newegg.com/p/0SJ-003S-00011?Description=MIDI to USB&cm_re=MIDI_to USB-_-9SIA1HEBVH6024-_-Product&quicklink=true Unless you have complaints, I think this is what I'll get.
  5. I'm not looking for the best, and $40 is definitely too much. I wasn't either; it was just an example.
  6. Suzuki Digital Piano HP-80. Ah, interesting! This is the only MIDI device I have (at least for now) though so I don't see myself using that port yet.
  7. I'm setting up an old piano/keyboard to use for GarageBand on my Hackintosh, and I'm currently using a 3.5mm audio cable to the line in port on my motherboard. However, I can't use it like this. Here's what I play: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A9xETHpZr7gKXKhaDGMY2DphO-FroODq/view?usp=sharing And here's what it records: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dpaWnMYygDTkgLO6k27f_vnPonTybFDj/view?usp=sharing The keyboard has 9 ports on it - 2 1/4" jacks labeled "Phone", 4 3.5mm audio jacks, one stereo pair In, one stereo pair Out, and 3 MIDI ports, labeled In, Out,
  8. I just rediscovered my Optiplex 3020 MT's PSU. Was buried amidst the Wall of Packaging.

It works, has the fan (I have the original, took it out to use but was able to put it back since I have a better 80mm fan now), so I'll be selling it.

Any thoughts on a price? It's a Dell special 290W unit, has a standard CPU 4-pin and a custom 8-pin. 12V power only.

    1. Schnoz

I can't really say too much about the price, but I do think you might be able to sell it at a higher price if you bundle it with one of those proprietary 8-pin to standard 8-pin connectors.

  9. I am cleaning up part of the office so I can bring the keyboard/piano up.

  10. Actually, someone could accidentally stumble on my last name. It's no secret that I live near Chicago, Illinois.
  11. Good luck tracking it down amidst all the others
  12. Got my first dose of Pfizer. All it did was make my arm sore for ~24 hours. Plus my sister was on the news because she was the first 12-15 year old in our area to get vaccinated!
  13. This is true. If a BIOS update goes wrong, your motherboard is useless. Also, there's no need to pay him - it's not too hard to do.
  14. It is fine. Don't worry about it.
