Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

That and multiple in my area in stock form needing to have heads pulled off before 100k... or throwing rods out of blocks with mild tunes... or absolutely crap mileage towing. And the terrible sound lmao

I'll let you know if I need my heads pulled at 100k :megalul: Mileage is shit if you touch the pedal in any situation, no surprise there. And the torque curve is a giant pile of dogshit under 2k. And yeah they sound terrible, wet farts galore. I honestly prefer the stock exhaust over what's on the new Raptors.

V6 + turbo = ? sound

Lol, for price yes. For food taste and quality I dont know. Five guys fries are far better than In n Out tbh. The in n out fries have shrank beyond belief. Burgers are totally different styles so it’s hard to compare. But if you go to in n out ask for not salt on the patty! It’s way better!

Yeah, not a huge fan of the fries at In and Out.

The burgers are great though, I'll try the no salt sometime.

Someone beat me to it but no.

I just googled it, 89 to 98.5 which is a pretty long run with a flaw like that. Just about as bad as the GM intake gaskets but oh boy GM slapped those intake gaskets on EVERY engine so I think the GM intake gasket was a worse problem. We're still doing those intake gaskets but much less than we used to.

this may be unpopular idk, but I don't like KFC!

Popeyes and Canes (both of which may just be a southern thing) are usually what I go for for fried chicken lol

Popeyes is certainly NOT just a southern thing, Canes is around here too but much less common. I like Popeyes chicken, it's generally pretty good and their sides are very good.

Well the homemade stuff people make around here is the best! Just no one does that very often in their house lol

I did some bread crumb shallow pan fried chicken a while back that was super good. About 375-400 oil temp, about 1/4 inch deep oil in cast iron, and breaded it with egg dredge and shake n bake buffalo chicken on the first dip and chili lime on the second dip, let them rest about 5 minutes between dips for the breading to stick on better and then about 15 minutes after the last dip. About 3 or 4 minutes a side in the hot oil and then out to cool a little and right to the plate. I was using thin cut breasts so they cooked up pretty fast. Call me trashy for using shake n bake but it was on sale for like $1 a box and I wanted to have some home fried chicken too so win/win there I guess. I love my trashy home cooked foods.

I feel like I haven't posted here(and on LLT in general) for an age. I got the car back on the road, and I've been using it most weekends to drive around the country catching up with friends. So tonight when I get home from work I'm going to sprinkle some photoshoot goodness in this thread :)

How y'all doing? Any new cars of note?
