Budget (including currency): 700€ (around 750$)

Country: Portugal

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for gaming (14 year old kid)

Other details:

I'm looking to build a PC for my 15-year-old nephew. He will be mostly playing games like Fortnite and he will probably want to try some AAA Titles.

I will advise him to use a 1080p monitor since in this price range the PC will probably not run well in higher resolutions.

Right now i dot have any idea what could be a good price/value ratio for any part and i will really appreciate your help.

What i need:

Motherboard

CPU (+cooler if not included)

COOLER (if not included with the CPU)

RAM (thinking of 16Gb)

NVMe SSD (1TB)

Graphic card

Case (+fans if not included)

Power supply (i have a 550w +80 bronze power supply but i dont now if its enough)

Many thanks in advance. Hope anyone can give a little help.

Bem vindo aos fóruns!

In this price range I often recommend getting a used workstation tower and a decent GPU. Barring that, I'd like to know what you want him to get out of it? Absolute best bang for buck right now? Or something he can upgrade and tinker with down the line?

I'm not sure of the used workstation market in PT is like, but in the US, for this price, I can usually find/cobble together a i7-8700 with good cooler, 32GB mid grade RAM, and a 1080ti.

If you want a full custom, I quickly tossed together a list here: https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/list/XPbzrv
Others should 1000% give it a look because it's certainly not perfect, but it's a place to start from. I think that a 550W PSU would do okay with it, and I'd definitely recommend buying the GPU used (grab whatever 3060 is inexpensive and not sketchy) which should bring the price down.

Boa sorte!

Peripheral excluded. If you wanna include that in the budget i wouldnt bother going new then, check used market as previous post recommends.
