Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I took the plunge with a k70 with blues, now it's real tough to go back. Beware, they'll ruin you.

my hp spectre keyboard already ruined me. they're pretty tactile and clicky, but not chunky.

You could probably get one of those non cherry off brand cheap keyboards and it’ll still be better than a membrane. I’m just not sure how well they hold up overtime

nah. i actually like the clicky noise my keyboard makes but i just hate the feel of my keyboard. these media buttons are nice though, but corsair has a neat volume roller in addition to media controls.

I thought the idea of the orings was to simply keep you from bottoming out the key, which makes most of the noise. If they're getting mushy the oring must be too thick.

I took the o rings off my g710 (came with them from factory)

liked it much better and threw them away. They do make it noticeably more mushy and less mechanical feeling.

They really do. Every other keyboard feels like crap compared to my now pretty old G710+

They don’t even sell the G710+ anymore but it’s still my favourite. Bought 2 of them over the years

I had to replace the keycaps on the one I got about a year ago. they kept breaking. that's the only thing I dont care for so much about it.

I dont even think they sell the key caps anymore so hopefully this set lasts a while.

other than that, great keyboard though. Corsair key caps are much nicer from what I've experienced ( @Real_PhillBert you made a good choice)

I know what you mean, I'm just so tired of the horrid logitech k120 crap pad that I cant handle it anymore, especially with a K70 at home.

I was looking for either the K95 or a Das Keyboard 4 Professional this black Friday. Idgaf about the RGBness of the K95 but... macros... haha

K120 is incredibly underwhelming.

Naw blues are designed to make a clicky noise during its stroke. Should try browns? They're close to blues but way quieter.

On paper they are. In practice, browns are very different. I still maintain that they feel like membranes with a long travel.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

I have this and love it. You can completely turn the lighting off if you want. I honestly quite like how it feels and prefer it over my old keyboard with MX Browns

I know people have varying opinions about how browns feel to them, but you're the first to say they feel like membranes so I think you should have your fingers checked out by a doctor.

They feel pretty differently depending on how fast and hard you type on them. The faster you are, the more linear they feel and typing hard and bottoming out also makes you ignore the little bump but the bump really helps when typing lighter as you know when to release it

- Got ripped off on rf component speakers, turned out to be coaxial and cracked

- still better than the stock peugeot as their paper cone has a big hole in one of them so replacing it anyway

- sealed up the rf with silicone sealant, and buying new ones to replace those.

I still got the grills and all so put the speakers in anyway and had a listen. Just as good as my stock speakers, so cant wait till i get the real thing. Old speakers had a bit of tear in their cone so I guess need to get new ones anyway. I put the grills on on the concete which was a huge mistake and ended up with a few large scratches on the doors. These are the rear doors so not too much of a big deal, but i'm going to notice either way. Soldering the terminals (b/c proprietary terminals on) went well for my first time soldering and they are in there pretty good.

To sum: actually did nothing but looks cool and I enjoyed doing it.

I really like my 2012 Impreza hatchback, but there is one main problem: 148 hp. I got lined up beside a regular Mazda hatchback at the lights, we both floor it, and I just get smoked. 148hp is not that much. Maybe someday I'll get a wrx, but this Impreza only has 15k miles, and I need the hatchback.

They look so much worse the older ones look way better IMO. Not a big fan of the forester look or a Subaru hatchback. Then again I'm not a fan of much - but older wrxs look waaay better.
