Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

^ I had to sand and polish these ($800+ each). I spent A LOT of time on them. Put Xpel covers on top of them. Didn’t bother with clear coat as I find it leaves a slight haze and all the “anti UV” products suck. The fog lights luckily are glass.

If I had to restore again, I will always do it this way or not at all. lol. moisture inside I'd take it apart... the Xpel covers are expensive but insanely thick and very very nice. but for $80.. I'd just get new ones in your situation. be done with it.

I’d just go OE/OEM. But that’s me. I’m not usually a fan of different headlights from stock because they almost always look tacked on to me

Nice! I kind of want a mech keyboard for work as well but I don’t feel like spending $100+ on one again lol

I know what you mean, I'm just so tired of the horrid logitech k120 crap pad that I cant handle it anymore, especially with a K70 at home.

I was looking for either the K95 or a Das Keyboard 4 Professional this black Friday. Idgaf about the RGBness of the K95 but... macros... haha

You guys had the 1.6 there. We didn’t have that here.

Probably not. As cheap as gas is here and how wide open our roads are, it makes sense to have the bigger engine.

But what’s stupid is the 1.8 Europe (and japan) engine got the better intake manifold and tune lol (Japan got higher compression ratio too)

i've been really looking for a new keyboard. i thought my gateway membrane keyboard was nice in addition to its media keys, but since i got my hp spectre a while back, its firm clicky chiclet keys made me realize this keyboard is way too soft still.

I took the plunge with a k70 with blues, now it's real tough to go back. Beware, they'll ruin you.

They really do. Every other keyboard feels like crap compared to my now pretty old G710+

You could probably get one of those non cherry off brand cheap keyboards and it’ll still be better than a membrane. I’m just not sure how well they hold up overtime

I love my blues, but they'd be a bit noisy for office work. I may end up getting the orings for it if it gets too noisy.

orings are a pretty bad solution, they destroy the point of mech keyboards and make them extremely mushy and tiering to type fast on. i tried some on my K70 and it didnt do much for the noise whilst making it a pain to use so i would recommend against it. a thicc rubber damping mat under the keyboard would probably do more

I thought the idea of the orings was to simply keep you from bottoming out the key, which makes most of the noise. If they're getting mushy the oring must be too thick.

they get muchy and tireing because you end up pressing that oring unless you are an extremely light typer. i used some medium hardness 1.5mm orings IIRC and after typing away for a while i had quite a bit of finger fatuige compared to not having them. i have since then become a lighter typer but they didnt do much for sound anyway and destroyed my keyboard experience so after a month or two i got rid of them and sold them on for the exact same money i bought them for
