Its quite depressing he passed away, I was always amazed by how he spent his billions. Between founding various museums in Seattle, to a whole bunch of non for profits and philanthropic ventures, and essentially getting into a "yacht building battle" with other billionaires. I toured his aircraft collection a few years ago its quite incredible and definitely worth doing if in the Seattle area.

I know how that goes. Youtube became a real problem for me during college. I'd use it for music while writing lab reports and end up just watching random vids and not doing any work. Happened more than I'd care to admit.

I try to keep the number of channels I follow regularly down to a minimum. When they're doing daily uploads, or at the very least posting 3+ videos a week, it adds up incredibly fast. 

The number of channels I watch semi regularly is probably below 10, and the number that I watch all their content, below 5.

Just want to clarify if you meant non-profit, or not-for-profit? Since the institutions are quite different.

 

I agree it is quite upsetting, I personally have him and my grandfather to thank for where I am in life. I am glad my grandfather was decently close to him, leading of course to me getting to know him. He did a lot behind the scenes that people never knew about, and he never asked for recognition it.

I dont spend as much time on this site as I used to. It's still on my default chrome pages so I get notifications when people respond, but I dont wander around much anymore.
