mine is on mycarpeted floor, but it has enough clearance on bottom for airflow

Literally 100% of my friends have their PCs on top of their desks, whereas I am the only one with the PC below the desk in a special 'compartment'.

 

I wish I could put it on top so I can look at its beauty (it is my first PC case with a window :P) but there is no space...

 

What do you think is better/where do you have it?

I have mine on a tv dinner tray like thing right next to my desk so its a little lower, but still off the ground while giving desk space.

Higher frame rate over higher resolution.

i placed mine on my desk because when it was on the floor, the dust buildup is insane.

the aesthetics of having only a monitor keyboard and mouse make the desk look sleek and clean tho.

so depends on you

At first I put it on my desk, but then had too little space to game comfortably. Then I placed it under my desk but quickly put it on top again when I got a bigger desk because of insane temperatures (the pc was recycling air)

Used to have it under my desk (in a little cabinet or whatever for it), but since I often plug in stuff in the back, it was a real hassle so now it's on my desk

i had it on my desk before but now my desk is bent because of it. now, i keep it on the floor; less cat hair, more room and a lot of weight off my desk. plus i can see it now

I currently have a little spot on my small af desk for my pc on the bottom, but I'll ask someone I know soon to make me a desk that will be pretty huge so that i can put everything on top of it.

under, there is no damn way for me to have it on my desk cause of my triple screens.

At the moment it is on my desk, but I  am moving it to a cart I am making this summer for easier transport and maintenance because of how the desk is I can't reach my pc most of the time and if something needs to be plugged back in I have to take the monitors off and climb onto the desk

Currently, my HDD is on my desk, my PSU is on the desk next to mine and the motherboard is on the motherboard box which is on the printer between the two desks.

Normally, I have my PC below my desk because I have a small desk.

On the desk. I have a nice big 7 foot long desk, so there is plenty of room to put my pc on display.

On the desk. Used to be on the desk behind me, but while i'm at uni it's right next to me. 

It won't even fit underneath the desk, it's really dusty underneath the desk, and you can't appreciate the window panel and other stuff underneath the desk. Noise isn't an issue since it doesn't make anything noticable (pump hum and that's it)

I have it ona a small counter next to my desk. It used to be on my desk but I replaced it with 4 plants! My two favorites are a cactus di natale and my orchid!

My previous PC was a fairly compact mid tower. Kept it under the desk on a wheeled tray. My current build is in a MasterCase Pro 5. Doesn't fit under my desk anymore...

I have a nice glass door compartment in my desk where I put my PC.

Though I'm looking into getting a new desk, since I've had this one for nearly 7 years now and honestly it's not too comfortable, too high for my tastes when I'm sitting down.

Under my desk on a little wooden pedestal I made so that it's about 4 inches off the ground. I put wheels on it so it's easy to move out from under my desk.

It's much quieter under my desk, plus I have more space and dust buildup still isn't bad.

i have one of those compariments under my desk for my main powerhouse, it just sits there being nice and quiet doing its thing.

 

my home server sits under my desk as well, in a corner that was kinda wasted space, but is now the home for by abomination of a home server build that shall not be seen by the world xD
