I like that he will speak his mind.

However; I'm a die-hard conservative and even I will agree Trump takes it way too far. I think that the GOP should cut him off and that Trump should go independent. He is making the GOP look bad when we think he is just as much of a racist bigot as the democrats.

I will remind everyone not to let the actions of one define the character of many.

Also, don't trust the media no matter what they say.

I kinda enjoy trump, he brings a certain entertainment factor to these primaries, I suppose you could say it is similar to Obama he brought a "new flavor" of politics appealing to the youth vote. Got a lot of people excited, trump seems to be getting people excited and making the rest rage like no tomorrow. The GOP do need to cut him off though even if he is elected I can't see him voting in the parties interests so it would be like having an independent in office anyway.

 

The media is horrible MSN, Fox,CNN,TYT,Times,Guardian,Brietbart literally have to go through each and everyone of them to find anything news worthy. 

 

I will straight up say it: I think trumps supporters are ignorant and don't know the reality of the world. I won't say trumps stupid tho, he definitely markets well, like the businessman he is.

Well if it's to be based off this forum I've seen that Trump supporters are a lot more... immature as well. I should be careful what I say but also be honest at the same time. The thing I hate/find interesting about Trump is that he attracts a certain audience, an audience that really wants the US to do the things he says. He's attracting to those angry dudes in the midwest (yes, I am trying to say redneck without actually saying redneck... sorry) with those catchy phrases like building a wall, or banning muslims. Even a trump supporter has to agree that the muslim thing was way out of call, that's like saying all americans are going to go into canada and launch fireworks into the woods and burn the country to the ground. 

 

But I am biased. I live in California. And I've had conversations with Bernie supporters and they haven't turned toxic or rude in any way, while the opposite occurs when talking about trump. But it's just my opinions

It isn't that bernie supports are rude. I guess you should try seeing it from a conservative side of things. "Bernie plans to spend too much money, his policies aren't practical" 

"You're a racist who doesn't understand" or "You are a bigot" or "You have white privilege etc{not a Bernie comment so I don't want to paint everyone with the same brush here, but it is something his supporters love to throw around for not being progressive enough" 

Trumps comments about banning all Muslims is dumb as fuck. However I will say as a European I wanted stronger screenings in place for refugees. Yes somehow asking for tighter screening (not a ban) makes me racist, something I don't entirely understand. Look at all the eastern european countries building fences to control immigration so they can be processed correctly and look at the riots that ensued 

If I tried immigrating to Australia I'd be subjected to a huge number of checks, Europe not so much, I'm all for welcoming people who need safety even if I question their motivation for travelling so far across the world when there are countries which are much closer. Maybe its the Irish in me that questions why they would abandon there home instead of fighting for it. Who knows really, it isn't for me to judge them but we should offer shelter to those who need it.

 

I suppose this is the issue with politics no candidate is going to fully align with my ideals because I have both conservative views with a few progressive views to go along side them. I guess this is why I don't talk politics in general. I'm sure we could find something to agree on as I form my own beliefs we probably align on some issues and not others for example, Dave Rubin is one of the few progressive commentators I watch on a consistent basis , he is a Bernie supporter but our views align when it comes to other issues such as the radical left,right,  and radical Islam(again not all Muslims).

 

I suppose the only explanation I can give as to why you have encountered such toxic specimens from the right is the same reason I've encountered toxic specimens from the left and the right. It is the radicals who shout the loudest and champion the cause the hardest. That and given you live in California all the Bernie supports are probably too stoned to argue back (hey you made the redneck stereotype at least let me have the san fran stoners , I'm irish english so feel free to throw alcohol or tea comments my way)

The issue here is it's not a game, it's not reality TV, it's not funny. There are consequences to allowing the largest military budget in the world to play with it's toys. Don't like refugees, don't start wars in other countries. I'm an American and I'm saying the best thing to do is exile every elected government official into the war torn countries they created. Then take away the right to vote for everyone in the United States and hand that right to every person in every country with a US military base. I feel like he started out strong, but the more this election drags on the more I find myself distancing away from him. He's definitely not my top choice candidate and I don't hate or support him. I was non-verbally pulling for Trump at the beginning, but over time he's shown to just be completely unfit for the job, just like some others that are running who are more likely to win above everyone else.

Climate change isn't just about the warming of the planet, it's about increased desertification from deforestation, acidification of rivers and the sea, plastic has literally become apart of the water in certain places of the Pacific. Then you have unsafe chemical dumping, unsafe nuclear fission (Chernobyl for example), extinction of many species and huge smog clouds choking China and ending up on the American west coast.
