I'm not sure what you're getting at.  My state only allows for concealed carry.  So that's all I do.

I have some wooded property that I open carry on, however when I'm at home in the yard I conceal.

What state?  Open Carry is legal on any private property (edit, I should clarify - any private property you are allowed to be on that doesn't restrict weapons - and even at that point they can only ask you to leave if they see it...and if you don't its just trespassing charges), anywhere (in the US of A).  Open Carry on Public Property is different state to state, sometimes County to County (the way MO was up till 2 years ago)

Illinois.  I don't bother OCing in my yard because I live in a neighborhood.

Whoa a gun club, I need to post pictures of mine here (Mossberg 590, SKS, Marlin 336C 30-30).

What do you guys recommend for a .22? Ideally, I'm looking for a magazine fed, bolt action, and the purpose would be hunting and target shooting. Ruger 10/22? I don't want to completely cheap out, but I don't want to spend a ton of money either. :P

I concur. The Savage MkII series or the CZs.

Man. I knew there was a reason I like you Colton.

Last night I shot my local USPSA event, but this time decided to change things up and ran Production minor with my 92FS; what a change!

This is my only DA/SA gun and I dont shoot it as a DA/SA very often. It was fun though!

With a bipod and scope that's not much challenge, I can do that with my 80 year old Mosin Nagant.

Do it freestanding and with iron sights, and get back to me :)

(for the record, I'm joshing with you)

Pssh, do it upside down, blindfolded and using only your teeth to pull the trigger.  That's how real men do it.

Very cool, bought one yesterday. I'll get pics soon.

Didn't realize we had admins on here that were into firearms. Sweet.

In other news, I'm still doing research for building a DMR upper for my Windham Weaponry WW-15. Probably gonna do an 18 inch barrel, free floated hand guard.

That or I'll just buy one from Palmetto State Armory, they've got some amazing deals.

Highly recommend the 10/22, yes its semi-auto and if you absolutely don't want or can't possess it because of that, the CZ 452 or Ruger American .22 LR Bolt-Action are really good choices IMO

Meh. I just use mine as a club. With my Grendels, I can reach out further than @knightslugger doing that.

And so begins my first attempt at assembling an AR lower.

Hopefully my next post doesn't include the phrase "and then the spring flew out and I have no idea where it went."
