I'm going to guess the majority here has no idea who this is.  😄

But I am probably the worlds biggest Pat Morita fan.

He was Mr. Miyagi in the original Karate Kid and also played Arnold in Happy Days.

I think I just got an A320 mATX board, R5 1400, heat sink, and 16GB DDR4 2400 for $150 shipped with tax which isn't a bad deal. Not the greatest RAM and it's a 1st gen Ryzen, but the board usually goes for $60 used, the CPU for about $70-80 used, and the RAM for about $70-80 used so all in all it should be a good deal. Seller is a little weird, listing title says it's for the R5 1400 but the description says 'you get what's pictured' and has closeups of the RAM and board model too so here's to hoping I get what I think I paid for. If not I'll dispute it, I've asked twice for the seller to clarify.  I'm trying to cycle out my DDR3 junk and get some DDR4 junk for when I need a spare PC up and running to lend out, replace another system, etc. They don't need to be great they just need to be better than DDR3 1333 and an i3 4130. I need to score some Ryzen APU's on the cheap is what I need.

What you needed for home video in 1985 - Camera and separate portable VHS VCR, at least there's only one cable between the 2 with the well-known EIAJ plug. The first VHS-C consumer camcorder that put both in one had only just come out a year before.

Everything worked but something was squeaking/vibrating in the VCR... turned out to be from the drum so I got a bit scared, started taking the top apart, noticed the first tung to come off was some kind of pressure plate that had a bunch of load and would endure some friction, cleaned it and put a dab of grease - vibration gone. Also needed some adjustments as it wouldn't really be able to play its recordings - played with some random pots since no doc available, and it somehow ended up working perfectly and able to record itself working.
