Im struggling with this as well. I had a logitech mouse and keyboard  before but wanted wireless so I went to a corsair k95 keyboard and dark hero pro mouse and have been using them for almost 2 years but think I am gonna go back to logitech gear. I thought I would get used to the corsair stuff but it just never has felt as good as the logitech gear. My problem is swallowing the $500+ its gonna cost me to go to the equivalent Logitech gear here in Canada

Its funny u mention Corsair...

I couldnt find a 'dark hero pro' ..but the corsair 'dark core pro RGB' is the only other mouse i considered buying instead of the RAT8+ ..because its the same price and meets similar requirements, in fact being wired and wireless it has a leg up on the RAT8+ with is wired only so will be harder to fix should the wire fail like with my old one (though it lasted many years)

So if it is the Dark Core Pro u have and ur saying u dont particularly like it, im glad i went with the RAT8+.

I use the 'tip grip' so despite not having small hands, smaller mouses actually 'fit' me better, the RAT series mice have great adjustability size wise in that regard.

Ofc in regards to quality im assuming nothing has changed in the years since i got the RAT 7 MMO. I know in 2018 the company was effectively rebooted after bankruptcy, and since some rumblings of lower quality products surfaced ..but we shall see.

Got some goodies that came in over the course of the weekend and today. Screen protectors for the camera (pack of 3 for $5.99), pack of three USB-A to USB mini-B cables, couple cheap lens hoods for each lens (under $10 for each), and picked up the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM as @s_krecommended looking at (What a great selection!!! Takes great photos and crystal clear compared to the zoom lens). I got the lens at Micro Center and didn't really cost me anything since it was store credit from a warranty return.

Happy you like the nifty fifty. Treat it with some care, it's obviously plastic, but it's a great lens for virtually no money.
Should you ever consider an upgrade, the 1.4 is definitely a big step up, but at that point the camera also starts to matter. Generally though, the photo is in the glass.

My gains for these days, I'm catsitting and when I arrived here my cat-owner friend left a note for me saying 'it's yours if you want it'.
With this one next to it:telegram-cloud-photo-size-4-5782989919092848065-y.thumb.jpg.e1025d6c3b0e12c10f931f41c06d80de.jpg
I actually am taking it easy on the analog photography but I like a good fujica, and this one feels really nice. I don't have an LR44 battery at hand for the light meter so I'm just using my gut feeling to expose (not helped by the fact that I'm using a film expired in 2005 that I found in my friend's fridge). Let's see what comes from it.
Also just picked up these at a local market:

Seriously by the way, if you ever find yourself in the Netherlands and you have a couple of days in the Amsterdam area, make sure to visit Haarlem (which is where I am now) and Utrecht. They are both adorable cities, with Utrecht being more 'big city' than Haarlem, but both a lot more relaxing than Amsterdam, with Haarlem being stupidly friendly. Perfect description for Haarlem would be: "Faith in Humanity Restored".

Nice tape! Maybe a bit too nice for recording on a dual deck from your phone. Time to update the deck and source to the level of that nice tape :D.

Nice. I remember trying to figure out how I could get the most bullets per can ammo can... Ended up stacking them neatly I could get more than loose (at least for what I'm storing). I forget the difference though, and I can't seem to find the post about it now. However at the time it seemed worth the effort:

New case came in to the store today so I went to pick it up. The old case is a Define R6 which I love but I’m going dual loop now so more room Is needed. Now to start collecting older pieces. I need 7 more fans, a 420mm rad, two pump res combos, some more fittings and some other odds and ends. Basically another $1000 worth of stuff. Aiming for an October start time I think

I found the master chief controller stand and the MA40 for like, actually good prices, so I grabbed them.  Had to.  The MA40 comes with an code to redeem in game, makes the assault rifle in the game look like the nerf gun!

Burnout Paradise was on sale, so I grabbed a copy.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

Couple of Ground Loop Isolators. The problem with having a 10 channel mixer is it makes it super easy to introduce ground loops 😞
