Well here we are guys, the end of the road for folding month 2021, thank you all for getting involved and I hope you guys have a good christmas and new year.

Ok, I now know why I don't have the badge, I did "participate" but never registered.

2020 was a messed up year so I forgot about that happening.

Hopefully it hasn't GPU wasn't plugged in and neither was the motherboard.

I was filling my water loop so only the pump was connected atv the time

I wasn't expecting my computer folding to actually work well as a space heater but my space genuinely gets more comfortable while I'm folding now that it's chilly out.

While pumps aren't cheap they shouldn't be in low/no supply. It's good to know that nothing else could have been damaged, it's really the best scenario for said event.

The pump is built into the block but luckily it is fine.

It's alive but a bit Frankenstein as waiting as the new PSU won't fit case properly

I like it, but especially since you had a PS issue, make sure you've taken care of updating the recalled riser, as it could've caused issue if you haven't.

all that has been updated. it was just a dodgy PSU - luckily nothing was plugged in motherboard/gpu only waterpump

Whaaast! I just saw that this morning and I can't join 😞

My Unraid NAS/Server could have run this for the whole duration of the challenge ...

If it has been done before, I can do it...

If it has never been done, just leave me some time to find a way!

Trying to do the google sheet on 4gb of RAM is painful...

 

New RAM coming tomorrow at some point. It was meant to be today but hey, that's Amazon Prime for you. Thanks to a member of this community sorting it out for me. I'm not sure if they want to be named but a massive thank you goes to you my friend!

Close everything leaving only the sheets chrome tab open, go to resource monitor disable all nonimportant stuff consuming ram, pray you don't crash the computer in the process 🤣

 

Amazon Prime can be hit or miss, bought 2 Kurzgesagt newly released book one for me one for family, buying theirs first... Mine got delivered the day it should have, theirs? It's "somewhere"... If they don't have it by mid week I'll ask for a new copy to ship out, I'm just hoping it's not been obliterated.
