Lol! I already have the VM running a few times per week (for things I don't have the power to run on my machines), so I figured it could come in handy for folding as well.

Hey we have no issues with mercs here, folding is folding, no matter how you do it.

Tis that time!  How do you think you fared for day 2?  I'm guessing some folks went up as everything ramped, and some went down as pre-completes no longer help.

I have no idea, I *should* be doing better today as have all the system running but had a couple crashes as I'm dialing in settings for the new ram

Seems like some of the WU's are a bit much for my poor little RX 540... Does F@H allocate smaller jobs if I time out, or should I remove the folding slot beings it's too slow?

 

Current one looks like it's going to finish before timeout, but not a lot to spare

Unraid be like:

refuses to restart folding at home

reinstall and then reboot 

Down is dead

Up is dead (Br1 errors)

I'll download a 150mb file 1 sec

modprobe: ERROR: can not insert "nvidia" : No such device (now get your minds out of the gutter)

in the panel: NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running 

 

So yea, 1070 likely won't be up again lol... I'm going to try reinstalling the nvidia app if that fails I'll pulling my P4 out of its grave.

Not sure if software or hardware firmeware issue, I'm confident it's software, the ram runs flawlessly in either state (my rams RGB waved good bye 2 weeks ago). Only reason why I use their cursed software is for the effects it provides (along with fan controls etc).

Couldn't find the turn off RGB function in the current version so I just put black as RGB and it worked lol.

Well last 2 times I used her she fried the gpu this time thou I’m running speed fan to max out the fan on the computer will see. She’s running at 56c. So nice and coolish.
