What hip movements do you practice in?

Evolution.

What hip cool young millennial movements do you practice in or just anything similar that you try to live by? Yes I know not all of these were created by millennials but atleast popularized today by them or maybe idk what I'm on about. I'm not a down to the book 100% follower of any of these and sometimes I definitely slip up more than I'd like but it's nofap, the FIRE movement, self sufficiency/basically any diy stuff ranging from plumbing to automotive, and my slightly modified version of minimalism. What about yourself?

Free Agent Lifestyle (= sub movement of the more popular term MGTOW). It was created in the last years. It focuses on self improvement and has three main tenets: no cohabitation, no relationships, no marriage
Minimalism: Living in a trailer (once I finish studies), avoid buying unnecessary stuff especially electronics.

I was already following the tenets of the Free Agent Lifestyle before I knew the movement because I never saw the appeal in relationships and cohabitation. I love being alone and enjoy my freedom too much. I believe Americans like the saying "the juice is not worth the squeeze".

So the only thing that changed regarding women is that I don´t feel lost anymore because  I always thought something must be wrong with me as everybody around me had girlfriends, wife, children, a regular life ... The movement showed me that I am not alone with my decision.

It is however not all about women. I had made bad decisions in my life for a long time. I had no life goals and just drifted along before I knew about the movement. They helped me back on track and helped me to self improve. I started hitting the gym and quit my job to study computer science.

That's a great way to keep the normies away... I'd consider moving to Aus if the wildlife wasn't going to be constantly trying to kill me in my sleep... and when awake.

My favourites are moving my hips to kitchen and back, to sit them down on my seat next to my desk, and to move them down on my bed and spinning them around throughout the night like I was a human carousel.

Wow man.

How do you make a living when you live that far out of town?

I mean I live close to a small town in the US and at times I've had to drive more then 60 miles one way just to get work.

Do you own a helicopter or small plane?

Though they somewhat predate millennials, I practice the noble arts of hedonism and materialism.

I practice the do whatever you want movement. I do not believe in PC culture, or any of the movements that we are currently seeing or have seen in the past 10 years or so. I do understand that there is racism, sexism, slight climate change. But I also believe that some people will use these subjects for personal gain. Which is why I do not participate.

The only one I truly believe in is NoFap. I am 2 years sober of porn and masturbation. Besides the sex and intimacy with my girlfriend.

I am not sure if I am in a 'hip movement'.

Personally I think I just do what I do; which is mostly boring basic shit.

Idk I don’t follow any movements or anything but am starting to question if this life is just some fucking joke. Kinda lost a grasp on what reality is and have some feeling that this isn’t it.

I work about an hour's drive (small town) most of the year. Most of my land is leased for grazing and cropping, and while this year's fucked it up a bit I'm a broadcast and av engineer and usually work in the city for a few weeks or months.

My property isn't quite big enough for a heli and I don't work it myself, but plenty of stations up further north have them (further is a relative term thats like 1000kms away)

I think the term "millennial" is used too broadly. Though I am a millennial by birth-date, we're not all the same. Many millennials cannot drive stickshift, wrench on their car, fix anything around the house, hunt/fish, or cook their own food. I'm an early-80's millennial though, so not one of the 'hip' ones.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

It often seems that way to me too. 😄

I have trouble following religions, I get it helps for some people, but I don’t believe in the fact that you have to worship someone to make it to the “good” afterlife.

I have an extensive stretching routine I do about every other day. I'd swear my body is like a wind-up toy that is constantly being wound to the point of breaking and stretching unwinds it a little bit. It's amazing how stiff and inflexible you become after even a couple of days.

It’s just awful, some days when I’m a good boy and do my stretches, my hips are nice and loose and I can touch my toes, other days it’s like 20cm off. It’s a big weakness of mine that I have. Good on you for keeping it up! Must be one of the reasons you are good at 🚴‍♀️ cycling.

Not sure if it counts, but the "How to not give a fuck" movement.

Sometimes squats.

In real life, I act like I know less about tech than I actually do.

Nah, mate. It's because I have really messed up feet and need to stretch things out to keep them hurting. I only started the stretching like this a few years ago after I got diagnosed with my foot problems. Then lower back problems started cropping up, so I added more stretches at the recommendation of my physiotherapist. Then RSI wrist problems, and so on and so on. So if I don't stretch then I hurt.

The one thing I have is endurance. I can't kick, throw, catch, or hit a ball. I can't run to save my life. So cycling is perfect for me.
