It can be luck, or it can be the work server you're connecting to.   One server could be empty, or really busy with new units being added but more people requesting them. 

I just got work again after sitting for awhile and it looks like the work server IP changed so, guessing the one I had been on was empty.

Therefore i would say, yes, thats very inovative, thx Thermaltake :P

I would like to introduce my dedicated addition to my Folding@Home workload, nicknamed Ugly Duckling. This is a compilation of mismatched parts I have available and will be upgraded to more proper hardware in the future. I will note that the PSU is brand new, never skimp out on that. For extra cringe, that is an Intel DQ45CB LGA775 board with an E8400, 8GB DDR2 RAM, with 3 mismatched AMD graphics cards. The AMD HD 6800 is not folding so I'm assuming it is no longer supported. This not doing nearly as good as my two p106-100 mining GPUs in my main rig but every little bit helps.

i'd say it was bad luck having all my rigs stop working, but really, my mother deciding to turn off the power randomly to most of the house is just the status quo at this point.
