LTT Official Folding Month 2020!!!

Go to solution Solved by GOTSpectrum,

Luckily when I said it was almost done, I really meant it.

For the last time in 2020, ladles and gentlespoons, here a blog post.

And with that said, it's a wrap! Thank you for everyone getting involved, if you'd like to continue talking about folding why not head over to The Folding Community Board

The first step is always admitting you have a problem.

One down, 11 to go. Just get a copy of the AA big book, read it and substitute “Folding” for “Alcohol”

Anyone else having a problem sending results to server 140.163.4.200 ? I now have 2 lots of results ( 1 on each system ) stuck trying to return results.

no problems sending WU's out here yet, but i did just lose 2 almost finished WU's to a BSOD :(

guess i'll dial back some OC's.

That moment when your PSU decides that it is running the show, throws a tantrum and bails on you like a teenager pop star on set during a shoot.

I've noticed some WU's I get do really well. like 2.5Mil PPD, then I get some that are 2.1 mil PPD or less. Is there a way for me to lock onto the better ones?

There is, but it is frowned upon, therefore I won't talk about it.

Not sure if your talking about 2060 or a 2060 super but in either case run with a 80% power limit. It will drop the power draw but will have no noticable effect on PPD ( at least I was not able to identify a drop in PPD). Card will also run a bit cooler.

interestingly enough, mine drops quite a bit in core clock and therefore there is around a 300k-400k ppd difference. it's like avg 1900MHz ish on full power and slightly under 1800Mhz-ish with 85% power. Though that's night mode for me, so i can drop the fan speed to 38-40% and can sleep alright. Still with the 100% power limit i run at around 64°C at 1300rpm for the first and 1600rpm for the second fan

6 BSODs since last night.

Guess I really won't be taking that crown this folding month either.

Sigh.

No, but you can have my number.  I'm interested in selling my 2080 TI so I can buy two more 2080 TI's.  I'm hoping I can sell it to you for most of its original MSRP and then buy some used ones for cheap.

I was looking at what they were going for on E-bay I think I'd reather pay £1000 for a new one than the risk of a e-bay buy.
