Post your daily carry?

No, not at all. If you live in a state that permits a person to carry a firearm on their person such as the State of Oklahoma allows me, I am preventing a person with ill intent from committing a crime on me. Since the institution of open and conceal carry (along with Stand your Ground and Castle laws) in my State, criminals now think twice before entering someones house or doing bodily harm to another. Your soft handed socialist tactics only exaggerate the issues of crime. Why is it so terrible in your mind for a person having the God given right to defend themselves?

A question of semantics and scope of view.  Given a societal rather than personal scope of view preventing that particular event against yourself doesn’t stop AN event from happening.  It merely stops THAT instance.  With a macro view if the perp victimizes someone else instead nothing at all has been prevented.  It’s a bit similar to truthers who make the argument that masks dont do anything because wearing a mask doesn’t stop you from getting the disease.  Given a sufficiently limited view it works.  Masks don’t effectively prevent the disease from attacking YOU they prevent a person wearing a mask from spreading it as well.  The result is if everybody wears them they DO work, because it prevents the disease from spreading at all.  As such going around without a mask is a lot like going around strapped and randomly shooting at people.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Then why do doctors and other health care workers catch and die from Covid? They obviously take every precaution available. And as long as the perp moves on to someone less prepared... so be it.

That the new Karl Gustav? Swedes make some impressive guns.  Barrel looks larger than 49 caliber to me. Rifled barrel too.  I think “covered in a dogpile of cops” might describe it.

Ooooh.... I spent a summer in my teenage years in bad hartsburg.  Central Germany. Ski resort town. (Note ski resort towns are not exciting in the summer) The East German border fence was behind the house.  Mooning the guards was high humor but a bad idea.

Anyway below that one was ost frieslander jokes.  They were basically the same kind of thing as what are in North Dakota and Minnesota are Norwegian jokes, though in other areas they are polish jokes or Mormon jokes. I got a certain amount of mileage out of telling my host father Norwegian jokes which he would translate as ost frieslander jokes for his buddies.  Apparently the jokes didn’t cross the Atlantic that often.  If you ever need any there are many Norwegian and polish joke books that might have, while very old jokes, ones that might be new.

  • 2 months later...

This is what I carry in my work pants at all times. Sometimes I also have a big pack of Cable ties with me but we tend to use them up really quickly, that and my phone and now new also my Sony WF-1000XM3s:

IMG_20201116_175252.thumb.jpg.ec72cfe951a2e5c8d15d9dc26545e28b.jpg

Had to mark over a lot of stuff due to privacy reasons but you get the idea. I'm on probation for an apprenticeship as an Assembly Electrician if you didn't know what my Job is.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

unfortunately I can't go outside with a firearm because if I happen to kill a rapist or thief I'd go to prison for 30 years and the attacker's family would show up on national TV for a week calling him "a victim of this society" and "he was murdered by this ruthless whore and and he had KIDS, THINK ABOUT THE KIDS *fake crying*". Shithole laws in a nutshell.

depends on where you live, afaik in my state if anyone threatens you and starts advancing to you and you're scared for your life you can open up. or if someone breaks into your home and you feel threatened same thing.

Yeah, I don't buy that argument. Like, are all these people constantly in some actually credible danger of being attacked by someone? I do not believe that.

I know i'm late to this, but its not about being constantly in danger it's about that 1/1000 chance that you are, better to be prepared for the situation.

it's also not always someone but something, animal attacks are common in a lot of areas, and even just the noise of gunshot can scare them away sometimes.

It can also be a piece of mind thing, a lot of people are constantly scared, of being robbed, abducted etc, and carrying a firearm can change that.

You are so correct Sir. And it's not all about being scared, it's being prepared. Some of these responses I read are like from people who never leave the house.

That has to be the most naive statement I've read so far. The fact is with an mindset like that,  you may never know or realize when your well being may be in danger. By then, it's too late. A perfect example is people walking through a parking lot or pumping gas while fully enveloped in their phones instead of any self awareness of who is around them. I actually did this as a lesson to my wifes' daughter one time when I saw her walking through a parking lot messing with her phone. Walked up and grabbed her from behind.... a lesson she has never forgotten.

iPhone 6s - 64gb. my main phone.

Nintendo DS Lite - i always carry a DS of some sort around. always fun when i have some time to kill.

Sony WH-1000X M3 - my main headphones.

My super boring wallet

equally boring face mask

hand disinfection stuff, always useful these days

and my keys, obviously yeeted out of the picture.

The 3DS XL is a bit big, admittedly still a lot smaller than a Switch. If I'm going out and I know I will have to kill some time I'll grab my DS Lite over my 3DS XL, just because the Lite fits in my pocket.
