LTT Folding Team's Emergency Response to Covid-19

Go to solution Solved by GOTSpectrum,

This event has ended and I recommend you guys head over to the Folding Community Board for any general folding conversation.

I have had bad problems this night, i have uploaded 4 WUs.

The first one got dumped, the next three did  not add QRB, and did not register on EOC.

We shifted the scale. If I'm not mistaken the bump at 10.27 had been our previous all time record. We did more in a week then we did all of last October.image.png.0d8876271a757c193bf0c449eecbec1b.png

Too bad it is only assigning CPU WUs.

but better nontheless.

True, but there is still plenty of time to change that. It's helping for a start.

Linus talked about a video about it on Monday (WAN show) so we'll see.

I have picked up CPU jobs from 128.252.203.10 which apparently only dishes out GPU jobs, so I'm not certain that is accurate. But haven't had any jobs from linus1 so idk really

If it's getting uploaded to the Collection server then you won't get credit for it until they transfer the results to the Work Server. You'll eventually get credit for it, but that could be weeks/months away.

I've also had 11764 dump when uploaded and I've seen a few other people report the same issues.

Last October was the previous folding event. To beat it by such a huge margin is very impressive.

We're almost earning more per 3 hour update period than PCMR is earning in the day.

image.png.0e90052fd52d0434c0ae2d119f0be167.png

Those 9pm and 9am updates with 0pts might be throwing off our hourly scores though if it's catching up on those missed update periods in the following updates, artificially increasing our hourly points.

Still, we need something to aim for to keep ourselves entertained :D

Does anyone know what @jakkuh_t and @LinusTech did with the 6 Editors 1 PC Project?

In the Video they showed it at 15m PPD but i can't see them on the Team Stats :(

Did they not join the event?

I only see two spikes in Jakes curve where they apparently turned it on?

That's just an error connecting to the work server caused by server issues on their end. We're hugging their servers to death with all the requests we're sending. It should automatically attempt to reconnect to the server, so you can ignore those error messages.

It was likely running the rest of the time, but starved of WU's.

Also possible they did a bunch of stuff with it for videos that will come out next week and disconnected it/moved it/made it use their server to test it while they were commissionning it etc...

Jake's folding with it under his user (I believe). But there's a lot of issues getting work units as well as being credited for completed work units, which is why the production is lower than what it should be. Same thing is happening with Steve from Gamers Nexus, his tweet kinda explains it.

Try searching in the spreadsheet instead of on the webpage. (first click in the spreadsheet somewhere, then ctrl+f)

I was searching on our F@H user name....
I'll blame it on having been sick when I signed up so my memory is a little foggy :)
