I'm getting an error when trying to upload a completed work unit back to collections server:

05:14:53:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Failed to connect to 155.247.164.213:80: Connection refused

Has anyone else been seeing this issue? I know the servers have been hammered lately, but I want to make sure it's not on my end.

Not just you. I've been getting them all day, which sucks because I am crunching the numbers but can't get the points. Lol.

I've been renting a V100 GPU from AWS and this is the first work unit it has completed.  So that makes me feel a bit better knowing it's not just me.  But at the same time it's not making me feel very good knowing that I'm paying to rent this GPU but loosing out on some of the points because of it.

Edit: Just as I say that, the upload completes.  I'm happy again, lol.

It can. I used my HD7970 alongside my 1080Ti for a while but the card died during the last event. I think it was something like 175K PPD, but that was Core 21. Wouldn't surprise me if it could get around 200-250k now with Core 22.

That card in the picture certainly doesn't look like a HD7970 though o.O

Ideally yes, but there seem to be a few WUs sliding through without getting the QRB shown. They'll likely be added retroactively.

maybe that's the explanation for the huge spikes at updates, i only saw it happening in one log so wasn't sure if that was typical. i'll check when this current WU finishes in a few minutes

Damn, it's been so long since I logged on I didn't even remember I had an account until the account creation told me my email was already in use lol.

I've been trying to keep up with some of y'all, but my hackjob of a "media" machine can barely match my normal gaming rig.  It's got my old 7970 and a Vega 56 in 1x slots I hacked the back from so I could fit two at once, with two power supplies and it's in a case that literally appeared at my desk at work one day.

If I could keep them running (the hackjob machine has constant driver hiccups that soft lock the whole system), HFM claims a PPD of 2.1mil.  In reality I don't think I've managed to babysit them long enough to crack 1mil/day.

Also I don't know how you guys are undervolting at all.  The instant I move any of my 3 machines' GPUs away from factory FAH starts throwing bad results and gives up.  I think I lost 3 WUs today while fartzing around.

My normal rig is a little nicer, at least.  I've had a long history of "media" PCs made from leftovers...  Somewhere in the ether an old college friend still has my Phenom 950 machine with a heavily overworked 4970 in it still limping along, much to it's great pain I'm sure.

(And in my defense, the hackjob was only done to try and run both GPUs lol.)

Actually, the best part is the 2nd PSU didn't have two 8-pin PCIe plugs because basic 430w, so I re-pinned the EPS connector for PCIe use lol.
