Can i carry empty case in plane?

Hello guys i going to travel soon "international flight", planning to carry my h440 nzxt case as a check-in bag. Am i allowed to do that?

If its in a bag and fits the compartment above sure, otherwise that would be a wrecking ball during an emergency so there is a good chance they wont allow it. Just check that in as your baggage.

If you manage to get an NZXT H440 to meet maximum space restrictions for a Carry-On, then sure. I've heard of a guy bringing a Jeep Wrangler fender on a plane before.

that sounds like a great question to ask the Airline you will be flying with. Each one is going to have different requirements for carry-on so it would be impossible for us to give you a 100% accurate answer. last thing you want is to get to the gate and be told "no"

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I wonder what might happen if someone carries a system in a small case onto a commercial flight ...

 

That system happens to use, at best, a Tier E PSU, or one that has been in gutless wonder reviews or otherwise scored very low in reviews (i mean so bad that each missed spec by itself would be capable of giving an otherwise Tier S PSU an overall "0" score, and it misses in every way possible) ...

 

...

 

And in the middle of the flight, while using the PC ...

 

The PSU fails spectacularly

 

In such a way that it would make the Allied AL-D500EXP (reviewed some time ago on @jonnyGURU's site) look like it had a quiet peaceful shutdown.  (Although after re-reading that review, it actually got an overall "4" score.  I seem to remember a 500-watt Hercules that while it didn't blow spectacularly (iirc) during testing, it scored somewhere around 0.4 or 0.5, along with another PSU or two.)
