Your building should be secure should it not? Unless you assume a coworker will steal your PC, in which case bring it home instead of leaving it at work when you go.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

there are two types of theft you could face, the first is a mofo stealing the entire case

some cases gave a point to put a safelock or a kensington lock, you could use that

if your case doesnt have that, consider just using screws and screw the pc to the desk

the other type of theft you could face is another mofo stealing ran, hard disk, internal components of the pc

on that case all you can do is try to put a safelock or a travel lock on the left panel, even if you need to drill a hole on the case and left panel, al depends on how dar you want to go

if your case has 5.25" bays, put something on them

i once saw a internet cafe pc without ram, the mofo removed the two 5.25" covers in the front of the case, pulled out ram modules and walked away with free ram

When I was on high school our PC’s they had this metal cable running from case to a lock, think it’s called Kensington lock or something

Booby trap it.  All you need is some wires, an ignitor and a stick of dynamite.  The second someone tries to open the side panel or lift up the PC, it goes kaboom.

You'll find that the remains of the PC and those of the thief will still be at the office the next morning.  The police will identify him/her eventually.

I'd suggest getting a big brick of lead or maybe steel and weigh the sucker down.

I'm wondering how Wile E. Coyote would blow himself it. Probably wouldn't go off until he walked over to it.

Also some det cord or other form of plastic explosive would be preferable. More stable that way.

I've seen both kensington/wire lock and using locked holder. But overall best is to keep rooms locked and monitor who uses room.

If you need a PC at work your work should provide you with a PC

As a serious response, some cases include kensington lock locations on the back of them.

Something to mitigate/deter (i.e. not entirely prevent) thieves from breaking into your case. https://www.amazon.com/LINDY-Security-Screws-PC-Cases/dp/B000I2JWE0

Never seen these before, but they're basically keyed case panel screws instead of the run-of-the-mill phillips style screws. It's not going to defeat a truly determined thief. As some say, locks just keep honest people honest.
