Dell xps 13 9343 keeps randomly shutting down on windows 10

For some reason my dell laptop keeps shutting down when on battery power, happened twice when it was on and many times when it was in sleep mode. When I check logs it says that it shut down because of a kernel api, I've tried windows 10 enterprise ltsc and 10 pro but they both had this problem. Weird thing is that when I had chrome os flex and chrome os brunch frameworks on it was completely fine and never turned off randomly. Please help I have no clue what to do.

that laptop is a decade old , have you changed the battery on it yet

The bios says the health is good and it lasts a long time
