We're talking about Intel, who have billions of Dollars and wasted a shit ton of money for other "side projects" that also has a ton of experience with cooling products.

 

So yes, they should be able to get a decent cooling solution.
Especially since you can look at Designs that did not work and those that did.

 

In general: Blower Coolers don't work for Cards over at around 150W at most.

I think it's dual slot, it's just that the render perspective and the angle the picture was taken makes it look odd. The card does look like a proper smaller dual slot card, something like the RX 560 and the GTX 1050.

Intel is also a business. Just because they have cash to throw around doesn’t mean it makes monetary sense to do so.

Technically it's not since they have Xeon Phi which is based on their old GPU design. But you missed the whole point.

Well I doubt Intel can pull off 2080ti+ performance on their first GPU so it'll probably compete with AMD in the lowend. Which is fine because AMD took back HEDT with threadripper and Ryzen 3000 will eat intel

I am wondering how all these "experts" know that this card is loud or hot because of the cooler type?  I mean, this card may not even exist or it may actually be a unit that does work.

A blower cooler serves a purpose; just because you don't want to acknowledge a use case other than your own doesn't change that fact. It happens to be an ideal choice in many (not all) ultra compact builds, cheap pre-builts, and multi GPU configs.

Servers are another large user of blower style fans.

If you need a PC that compact, then purchase a laptop.

 

Any time I see someone build a machine that is consol sized, unless it has entry level hardware, they always thermal throttle with all the panels closed.

 

Just another dumb fad that still doesn't justify that blower cards literally sound like a leaf blower under load.

Hopefully they use a vapor chamber for their first party coolers. That's likely the only reason a blower works on my own titan, and the FE cards are really the only decent blowers.
