spend like 4k on a PC, and put the rest in a savings account for a rainy day, because rain is good at masking the smell of burning money.

I'd wait with this topic another week or two until the new gpu's are out including the benchmarks. Maybe wait even longer til broadwell-e is out. Then I'd start such a build because now it is truly a waste of money, more than in a few weeks

and build a desktop as well. Seriously man, how many kilos of cocaine did you have to sell.

For 10k, I'm thinking, why limit to water? How about a custom phase change unit? I used to know people who did their own in the past but it was a long time ago and a bit too hardcore for me. Off the shelf ones feels like cheating, if there are any around still?

Is this an inheritance or something? Some people need to learn to appreciate the value of a dollar. You can build an amazing rig for a fraction of the cost.

Just buy 15 R9 290s and mine on them. 1.6K per month on ETH :P

Dumping 10k on a computer is pointless. be worth half that in a year.

invest in collectors items that dont lose value or just save it for a rainy day.

I mine on two and it's about 11p/hour which works out to about £80 per month in power assuming its 24/7 (which it's not), and my return is about £115 per month after power consumption I believe :) so basically every 6 weeks I make my money back on the card :P
