It's my system I have in it. I'm using two twelve inch subwoofers at 650 watts each

@iDeFecZx I mean multistoreys are fun yeah, but with mine if you were on throttle at anything below 2500, you'd be highly likely to set alarms off just going down the street.

It was cheap eBay crap so not surprising, on-par with a straight pipe I'd say. The Scorpion exhaust I had afterwards was better, the one I've got now is still a tad loud for my tastes but the tone is so good I can live with it

I had a scorpion non res catback with a decat on the 182. Would occasionally set the alarm off on my parents car on startup

Ran my 2000 Civic SiR B16 with an ITR 4-1 header and 2.5" exhaust with high-flow cat and just a "resonator" for a while. No muffler, just a turn-down in front of the rear suspension. Damn that was loud. It was cool for about 2 days, then the headaches from the contant droning forced me to add a rear muffler (my fav, the cherrybomb vortex  ).

Soon all my focus will have is a centre resonator and a cat. I know how loud a full straight piped one is and I cant bring myself to make mine that loud *yet*

My E36 is pretty tame now. It's only a catback, the 328's have twin pipes all the way down as standard, so they flow okay. The last one was decat with the shitty backbox, hence the volume.

 

Too many people straight pipe these case, when that happens they sound like tractors low down, but sound amaaaazing up top 

Then you feel the blood dripping out of your ears and you regret life.

Mines running a super high ultra race flow self choking non-cleaning DPF ... thats about it.

Just put in another battery and upgrade your charging system. Remember P=VI so (worst case) you only need to draw 55amps.

some do come stock with 400hp .. so probably a few simple mods and a tune would get you to 500ish hp if you cant get the 400hp ones. No need for a stroker kit.

 

The transfer case shouldnt be an issue as long as you dont launch it hard... but it can and will even go out on stock hp evos. In theory it could hold like 700hp. But the transfer case will fail at some point anyways ... its just a matter of when and where. but the general idea is that higher the hp and the more you launch it, the faster it will go boom 

 

So if you plan to upgrade the power, i would get an upgraded diff and transfercase, transmissions seem to be fine ... as long as they are the 5 speed manual, Manual 6 speeds (evo 9 only IIRC ) are not as strong and the gear ratios are not as good. I think the 6 speed SST was also quite strong but has a known issue of overheating in start-stop traffic

Excuse you! Nothing wrong with the good ole' refined inline 6  

It just suits a proper exhaust more than other layout engines, I find.

And put this battery where? I have a small engine bay as it is, and there's nowhere else to put it. Is it possible to get a upgraded alternator for my car?
