Too bad it's not like the UX301LA which has a blue "body" as well :/ (but it's cheaper so...can't complain? :D)

I got my friend to buy a MasterCase for his build, he loves it! Very cool cases. Plus the tempered glass is a really nice addition should you choose to pay the extra $50. The S340 is still a solid case.

Are the side panels on all the master cases tempered glass? Do only some models come with the glass, or do you have to buy the panel separate?

Also, S340 doesn't have 5 1/4" drive cages, see original post my be.

Have you considered buying from the US and going south to pick it up? If you buy off jet.com you get 15% off, which works out to an $850 card. Pretty good savings.  Don't trust NCIX and their estimates. Both myself and my friends have tried ordering stuff that wasn't in stock and some items have taken months, with no feedback from NCIX at all.

It's available in the U.S.? I look at Newegg U.S. and they don't have stock either.

Strix is 1250 CAD without tax and shipping on Amazon.com. Says availability is April 24.

MSI Gaming X is in stock (two left!) but at 90$ USD shipping.

I don't have a car so the border is slightly complicated. :P

Desktop: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb ddr4 @ 6000, 3080Ti, x670 Asus Strix

Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti

It's more important to look at some TFTCentral reviews when choosing a monitor. Response times given by companies often aren't accurate, as they don't account for input lag.

Do you know of a 1920x1080 monitor you could recommend? Budget is probably around 100-200.

No, it's an add on as far as I can tell. Only $50 though.

Ahh. Yeah I guess. I'd just find another solution, 5 1/4 will get less and less prevalent as time goes on.

Just a 1080p display which should be around 23-25 inches, I don't really want free sync or g-sync.

To be fair, it was a dell E7250 which has 2 dedicated dimm slots :P

Yeah, the screen was the absolute killer for the dell...768p TN non touch? Ewwwwwwwww (as my old laptop was at least a 768p TN touch display)

@deXxterlab97 is going to be jelly of my new blue laptop... :)

Hahaha, I wouldn't doubt that one bit. Throw a little VR in there and I think we've nailed it.

Yeah, I don't know why anyone would put a screen like that on a mid range laptop. It belongs on the lowest of the low.

The blue is actually pretty striking, usually I'm not a fan of color.

I'd wouldn't even call it mid range...the i5 model would have costed like $1079 from dell...which is the lower side of high end no?

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I wouldn't say that in terms of their business laptops, I think they go upwards of $4k.

...isn't lower high end just mid? ;)

Well I'd say anything really over $1k is high end but that's my opinion :P

To be fair, that does include Dell's Business warranty which is...ermmm...pretty good from what I've seen? (to put it lightly)

When you quote someone you need to put your reply below the quoted text. Otherwise when they hit reply, it doesn't properly quote you.

As for the monitor, honestly I'd just go with something IPS that has the features you want (USB hub, HAS, etc).

I'm pretty partial to Dell IPS monitors, and they generally do quite well in gaming for what they are.

I don't mind the price, it's the availability that's a joke. They're back-ordered even on U.S. websites.

I blame the weirdos that are upgrading from SLI 1080s for 1440p and lesser. :P

I'm looking at getting some new headphones. I've been looking into the Sennheiser HD 598 black special additions. Probably throw a mod-mic on there too.
