Adapter?

What cpu do you have. These wifi 7 chipsets only work with certain intel chips.

Where does that cable go to?

Why the wif 7? You already have good onboard wifi.

Cable goes to a USB header for some reason, and got a wifi 7 router I want to take advantage of and the motherboard only does wifi 6

Hmm do you have a link of the adapter?

It going to usb makes me think this is NOT a pcie device thingy but a usb transformer thing.

Keep in mind that unless you are in the same room as the wifi 7 one you wont get any benefit in speed.

Even so unless you have gigabit+ ethernet same thing. Wifi 5 and such is beyond plenty still here. It does have some wider channels and better qam levels but well unless your wifi 6 connection is absolute dogshit you will notice exactly 0 difference between these.

idk if its dogshit but i never got above 100mb

Says it right in the picture. Your be200 is incompatible with it.

As for wifi speed. Instead of upgrading the wifi card i recommend you put money towards increasing your wifi reception.

How many obstacles are between you and the router?

A simple way yo increase speed is to minimize those.

If that is not an option an extender can help a bit by putting it IN THE MIDDLE between you and the router.

The better option here is to opt for a wifi mesh.

However the best is always run a cable.
