Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

Passed 1K WUs recently. Started folding during March, and don't play to stop any time soon!

And i reached Top 1000, have a Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB @3600Mhz and a RTX2700 Super + Vega64 in one computer not running all the day and a FX 8350, 32 GB DDR3 and 2* GTX1650 + 1* GTX 1050TI running almost 24/7 .... thats why my avg pts vary this much between days running both and running only 1 system ;)

It's funny how the position changes so quickly. I lost power for 8 days a while back, and I went from <600 up to @ 630. Oof! I'm trying to claw my way back!

New Wu's, as difficult as they are to run, barely allowed me to squeak into the 2M average PPD/wk. The amount of WU's im completing is less however, which means I'm technically contributing less to science. (Unless this project only has half the amount of WU's associated it it, then it's still the same)

Decided to switch my folding efforts to the LTT team, and I've signed up to the folding month event. Wish me luck!

 

Currently folding with my desktop:

1080Ti (folding)

R5-3600 (not folding, as it's not worth the extra power)

 

Previous folding rig was my Plex server box:
2x Opteron 6366HE

No GPU

 

PPD on the Plex box was just 10k

PPD on the desktop is ~1.28M

I've been much more stable over the past week or so as well. Back up to ~1.4M per day and 28 WU/d almost without fail. Strangely consistent in that regard. LOL.

 

Also, I broke into the top 10k!

Hurray!  Made 1m points per...hour? 🤔  I did just add another video card to the stack, but dayumn! (FYI: Definitely not pulling 24m PPD -- closer to 7m at this point -- but apparently 6 am this morning was a good time to be folding?)
