Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

700$ but I got it on sale for 600$ last year.

OUCH, its like 200 now, I got an evny 15 for $750 (a10, 8gb ram, quad graphics 2.5gb total)

Didn't install the RAM properly in my first build which caused my computer to go on an endless restart cycle which made me really scared...

I have quite a list but here are just a few:

-Bent a pin on a 8350 (Build wasn't mine either)

- I bought three OCZ ssd's without reading any reviews, just because they were cheap.

 

Somethings my mates have done:

-Buying an Titan just before the release of the 780

-Not putting in Motherboard standoffs, basically shorting the motherboard against the case.

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.


Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

I tried to uninstall my graphics card with the dvi cable still attatched! :D

They made some work on our companies roof one friday and forgot to cover it up, and it rained all weekend.

I had to pour out water of the top 2-3 servers in every rack monday morning when i got to work. About 10 HP Proliant servers died.

On my 30 gig boot drive, i have just over 100MB free. I ended up getting another hard drive for data and games.
