My organisation uses both for different reasons. From what i can tell the only benefit google has is for sharing documents ETC. O365 on the other hand is still easy to share documents, but comes with more and is easier to use overall. In my opinion i would recommend O365 over google.

Just had a quick look for this kind of monitor in my area but would be around $1000. A little out of my budget. Looking around $500-600

Hey guys, I am thinking of buying a new monitor for a friend for him birthday. He will mainly use it for coding and development work and will not be he only monitor. I am currently having issues trying to decide on what kind of monitor for him. Would you recommend either 2 X 1080P monitors, 1 X 1440P or 1 X ultrawide monitor for this work load. If you could let me know what kind of monitor you would recommend and a model of possible. Thank you in advance.

How to setup my email account with my own domain name?
Mitch replied to MonkyBoy's topic in Troubleshooting
I Know you said that you want to host it yourself. But I would recommend Google apps for you. http://www.google.com/intx/en_au/enterprise/apps/business/products.html They will host everything and is really good for small and start up companies if they ain't going to expand too much really fast. -
I Own one of these. they are really great. I warn you do not turn on the weekly monitor checks however...

I am currently with TPG and am loving the service, have everything with them because they are really cheap as well.

Build your own server or buy one? MS SBS?
Mitch replied to Matrixo2's topic in New Builds and Planning
In my experience there is not much different between building a server and building a Pc you just split your budget up differently. How ever with 2 servers across the country from each other I would recommend buying a server from HP or something like that and getting a decent warranty on it so that if something does go wrong you can send them out to fix it. One step above that would be getting a third party company to host the server in the cloud for you. This means that the server will be in a data center somewhere and be very unlikely to go down and usually the hardware will be provided -
Windows "Administrator"... You're not really an Administrator...

If you are able to create a linux boot flash drive. You can boot into that and delete the folder from within there as linux does not have the same permissions to get caught by. -
Are you able to post a full screen shot of an ipconfig /all command and of the interface of your router just to make sure you are in the right settings.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_crossover_cable "An Ethernet crossover cable is a type of Ethernet cable used to connect computing devices together directly. Normal straight through or patch cables were used to connect from a host network interface controller (a computer or similar device) to a network switch, hub or router"

You can, but is not recommended. It's easier to use a network switch then you can also have internet access as well.
