Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

As much as I hate to say it (because I own one), the PS Vita was a pretty damn big flop. Which sucks, because the system isn't bad at all. It looks nice and plays games that would be too hard on the 3ds.

 

 

I haven't seen anything on Windows 8 being a financial or commercial failure. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a failure.

Well, in the first 15 months it did sell 10s of millions of copies less than windows 7 did in the same time frame. People would buy new windows 8 machines and then spend money to downgrade to windows 7. Windows 7 market share has increased to almost 60%, up more than 10% since windows 8 was released, while windows 8 itself isn't past 15% (that's both windows 8 and 8.1 combined). Aside from that, considering how fast Microsoft is trying to bury it and make people forget that it existed, even if it wasn't a complete failure, it wasn't a roaring success either.

The problem with the Vita is that they did nothing to market it. Same issue with the Wii U. As for windows 8...8.1 sold, but 8 is considered a beta of it.

Vista isnt about marketing it was buggy AF. Constant crashes.

Windows 95 sold like crazy, but God it was horrible to use. Constant crashing.

Windows 97 was awesome

If i was AMD fanboy i would be super pissed for getting HD 7970 overclocked for 3rd time....

Why? The card still performs as well/faster than a 960.

It was better than VHS at the time is just didn't have as much recording time.

 

It had better quality though.

 

It is exactly like HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray but this time Sony Won the format war.

Looks at Ngage QD on shelf - I loved that thing haha and all like 50 games that were released

 

First gen failed because you held it like a taco, second one failed because everyone had given up at that point

 

 

Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, I've heard it's wayy too short for 60 bucks.

 

Its like $20 now, its awesome, its just a prequel and little sandbox game, they should never have priced it so high, but hardly a failure

I was a kid so I knew nothing but The Sims   that was the only game I played in it, nothing else so it was still clean. I have a plan to find the phone but it's hard to find....

I never got rid of mine, still have the original box, about 5 games, a 32mb MMC card and a game case for 4 games

I made a mistake, I had put it somewhere and forgot it  now it's a pain to find it.

At least I keep my PS1 & 2 (it's in a safe place)

It sounds stupid but actually if you stare at the "Old" stuff it brings back the old good memories  yeah I keep my PS1 & 2 and sometimes it brings me the memories when I used to play it happily.

Ah, good for you  but for me when I play those games it feels different. Not like when I played it as a kid.... The "Feeling" is just different.
