Hey Guys, I just found a website that shows thousands of unsecured live webcams! If you have a Webcam, make shure you are not on this site: insecam.com

 

Sorry for my bad english, but im blown away that people are that stupid/dumb, even saw a baby cam :o

I think its even worse that those cams are cameras you would put in a baby room, just imagine people watch your kid sleeping.

I do not own a webcam, I am impervious to this nonsense O3o

disabled and put a sticker over my laptop one. since it has never once been used in the year ive had it.

The only reason I have a webcam is for my microphone, which is the only one I have, for TS ofc.

You guys should read their FAQ page;

 

 

Q: Does this site include USB cameras on PCs and internal cameras on notebooks? 

A: No. Only network surveillance security cameras and digital video registration systems are collected here.

 

Of course, that is only for this site, not for others.

Its not webcams I dont think, this website lits CCTV cams that are connected to the internet for remote viewing that are still using the default username+password.

I always disable my webcam when not in use. I don't know why, but I do.

Yet another reason I do not, and never will, own a webcam. Hell I wouldn't leave my microphone on my headset plugged in if they weren't already capable of listening to the mic on my cell phone whether or not I am making a call.
