My issue was I made a thread titled " OMG AMD vs Intel which is better bra" and like everyone said bro Intel like duh!!! Then I said well how should I know because this is the first thread like this ever.........then this other guy came in and BOOM spammed links to graphs that said 8350 Zerg!!! Then another guy posted BOOM...and said bro AMD bottleneck at 720p bra. Then they called each other fanboyz for 4 pages. Best thread EVA!! Then the very next day someone posted "AMD vs Intel bra" and it happened all over again.

Come to think of it.....it happens everyday......

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

I just had some douche today do this. It wasn't even a fucking answer. It was an honest to god story (like those ones you see on Facebook).

I've seen you do that countless times, guess payback is a @#$%.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

Because people are infatuated with a few things on this forum:

1. Having Linus say their name on the WAN Show

2. Getting mad likes on their posts by saying crap that might not even apply

3. Circle jerking levels of circle jerking in getting agreement for biased arguments that solve nothing but derailing threads.

I've gotten my share of WAN show mentions. I've whored my likes. I'm pretty well know. I also don't give a shit. I get my validation from real life, by interacting with real people. I don't need to glorify myself here.

I'm here because I like tech, I like interesting new things, I like being able to help others, and I like a good discussion.

That shit is exceedingly rare in this community.

Get to know the forums better. There are only so many subjects people here know about.

Also some hours of the day are better due to time zones and most of the forum being asleep and such.

And let's not forget about those guys:

- I want a super quality headphone. Price is not an issue, I have unlimited budget, so just suggest the best you can.

- How much is 'unlimited budget' ?

- About $150

It's really not. If you read http://news.ycombinator.com for a while you will see it's not the case. There are PLENTY (dare I say tons?) of techies and programmers and hackers that use Macs and Linux. They all hate Windows for the most part too. I'm not saying we need to go that far but some acceptance would be nice.

As someone who is well versed in the ways of iOS, Android, Mac OS (notice the distinct lack of exclusivity to OS X), and Windows, I can say that I genuinely like Current iterations of OS X much better than current iterations of Windows. This doesn't mean that I hate Windows (with the exception of 8/ 8.1). This post is being written from my Macbook, my previous post from my PC. Each has its use. I'm not a fanboy of one camp or the other, Apple or Microsoft, i'm a fanboy of technology. I've had many experiences with Android that have left me wanting a phone that simply worked (long story short, I went through six phones in a two month span as they all failed, or were defective in some critical way), que the iPhone. Yes, my current mobile driver is an iPhone... an iPhone 4s. My next phone will be an iPhone 6, but i'm not going to wait in a line to go and get it day one. If that's your type of thing, then by all means, go ahead, I find said behavior silly. iPhone reiterations are evolutionary, not revolutionary. The only time I need to replace mine, is when my battery starts going bad. I am getting about 16 hours of standby with my current phone, which means that it's in need of replacement. Three years on a battery is acceptable for me. My wife will be picking up a Galaxy S5, switching over from iOS after five years. She's switching from iOS for the same reason I switched from Android. Same household, VERY different experiences.

I have next to zero experience with Linux. In fact, the only experience I have with it consists of about two hours of messing around with Ubuntu that I had installed on a USB stick (flash drive, thumb drive, USB Key, whatever you'd like to call it). I would like to delve deeper into Linux, however time is limited. I don't have the time to dedicate to learning a new OS with the time that it justifies.

Does any of this make me a bad person? No. However, those who chose to attack others for their platform of choice are. they are the scum of the tech world, and I will call you out for it. Microsoft has pushed Apple, just as Apple has pushed Microsoft, you and I are the ones who benefit from that, keep that in mind. We wouldn't be where we are today without the two big front runners in home computing going at it head-to-head. I don't think anyone can deny that if the smartphone world were left to Palm or blackberry, I.E. if Apple hadn't come in with the iPhone, the mobile phone world would not be where it is today.

I have asked the same Question 3 times without even a response.

But other times there is a clear answer within minutes.

But when I asked if 650W was enough for (Product) I got like 20 different answers. And it ended in a AMD vs. Nvidia war.

EG:

"Will (PSU) handle SLI (GPU)?"

Responses:

"No, it will explode and kill your entire family"

"It will coil whine and then explode"

"You won't have enough power for the 2nd card"

"It will run hot, no issues though"

"Should do well"

"You could have Quad-SLI with that PSU"

"Bitch, I run 85 GPUs on my 5W PSU"

"Why would you even want another Nvidia card?"

like you have never done it. ...cough.. Sony vs Samsung :D

Post whoring is a pretty big one. Don't see why, since it's just a number on an online forum. Not like post count will win you a good career or get you bitches.

You got over 14k posts in under a year. :)

You can't deny there's a correlation between terribly posted questions to terribly posted answers.

There's also the people that have a question so specific and out there that you need to hunt down a specialist for that specific thing to answer it.

I've always amazed when I see user with 80 posts, native English speaking location and still dumping post to GD. Or posting long long text parts without any dots or really messed sentences. I can accept when users are using slang styles writing (while inside I hate it) because most times its still in understandable format.

The non-native English speakers can be hard to understand and I try to use easy words in case they don't read or understand my reply. Or use Google translate.
