Ha... not exactly. The 3070 Ti was a queue pop. This 3080 was a Step-Up which I fully intend on using in my own rig.

Nah... it's an FE card which I will probably put in a separate PC or give to a friend. We'll see what I end up doing with it, but I'm not interested in parting ways with it.

Seems like a status update.

The 960 is the only part of this with any real value, and that only because of the, er, unprecedented times we live in.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

You bought a GTX960 with extra packaging.

$140 for a GTX 960 seems like a decent price these days. If you're planning on keeping the system and using as is then the rest is a bonus, especially if you didn't already have a system. If you're planning on selling the parts individually though the old FX 8120 CPU, DDR3 memory, EVGA PSU, and 1tb HDD aren't really worth that much these days. Most of the value is in the GPU due to the ongoing shortages.

Bought these as a Christmas present for my 13 year old niece.

She specifically asked for, and I quote "pink headphones, with a microphone, LEDs and cat ears on it". Apparently she saw a streamer with some and she wanted them. *VERY AUDIBLE SIGH*
So my choices were either this one with good reviews at $65 CAD, some cheapo one at $30 with either zero or with awful reviews or the Razer Kraken Kitty(the ones the streamer had I believe), for $150-$220... I wasn't about to pay that much just for a girlified version of the Kraken when the normal black version without all that junk is $75, so this is the one I ended up going with.

I tried them before packing them up, just to make sure they weren't DOA. Sound is ok, mic is clear, more or less comfortable (requires the volume to be at 100% to be audible, that's kinda bad). But lord that "vibration technology" a such a bad gimmick, all it does is add "vibration" in the form of extra bass. And it distort the sound. Just awful. At least it can be disabled.

No idea. My 7 currently runs on a "73% health" builtin battery (read: 2 hours) and idk what the SMB's battery is at.

The 6S w/ a new battery lasted a day, so maybe a day and a half or two?
