Kingspec 64gb IDE ssd

For a thinkpad R52 rebuild project. 
I find it funny that over the last 6ish years I’ve bought enough kingspec products where I’ve watched them turn from kinda janky Chinese nonsense to a legit reputable brand, including probably the nicest packing for a 2.5” ssd ive ever seen.

Its a felted box, came with screws and an ide ribbon cable even. It comes in a a full retail box with all the details on it too as if these would be stocked at Walmart’s across the globe.

New keyboard. Been using a Blackwidow ultimate from Razer since 2013. Wanted to go with something smaller. 

 

The monitor stand is because one of my monitors is sitting on a book to give it extra height. Plus I want to be able to run my monitor in portrait mode potentially. And Im hoping the 7lbs that this stand weights will help so the monitor doesnt slide across my desk when someone bumps it.

yeah i think it is an old xfx one so that means it's pretty ancient.  i think they stopped being an nvidia partner after the 200 series of cards iirc.  It works a treat though and enables me to use my Gen1 i7 870 )cause that had no intergrated( but the whole thing went pop during a cinebench run and i'm not sure what it is yet.  I know the card still works and the PSU cause they're in an Asus board and driving it now with an i3 2120T.  I'm waiting on some more thermal paste and a secondary intel sink before i start to trouble shoot the i7.  I hope it's not the board though cause it's a lot more featured than this cheapy asus shite one and i already got the i7 for it..you know?

I've had products shipped from Amazon come on a Sunday. Sometimes it's Amazons own shipping services or USPS.

I struggle to get things delivered from Australia Post on weekdays, deliveries on weekends are an absolutely foreign concept to me.

Amazon has 3 warehouses in my city. They also have the place where they load the Amazon vans. So yeah, packages get here on Sunday. Amazon is taking over Michigan, In Metro Detroit alone I know of at least a half a dozen warehouses that belong to Amazon.

Just depends on the "time slot" of whenever you order the product when it says "Order within 2 hr 15 seconds to receive next-day shipping: October 10th" when you see it on a Saturday, or something to that effect. 

 

I ordered USB micro B cables for my camera on a Monday and supposedly would arrive on Sunday, but got them Saturday. 

 

I'll get packages any day of the week, by mail letters will not be seen on Sunday unless it's sent with a service that delivers mail on Sundays (USPS mainly).

Bought some HDMI virtual displays

 

They're very useful if you intend to remote into a PC, because for some reason if you don't have a display plugged in, the remote PC will just be black when you remote in, plugging in a display would make it fine

 

Got six of em, for Beddie, Miney 01, Miney 02, Muney 01, Muney 02, and Money 01

 

I also got 12 pcie mining risers, I ran out of it, and 12 should be enough for a while since I'm not adding much GPUs lately
