something about the plants bokeh doesn't look right to me. The dog looks great and the exposure is spot on.

Canon SL2 Helios44-m 1/160 F2 iso200. adjusted the WB some in post. the sky was extremely orange at even at 3200 it was really hot.

The bokeh is just how it turned out. the main thing is that the subject matter is in focus, which is the dog.

On you your shot. I do like it even though its not a subject matter that interests me, got a post apocalyptic, cinema feel to it. personally I would have used a tripod, closed that aperture, maybe something like f/11 and done a long exposure and get more  of the frame sharper. That's just what I would have done for my way of shooting,

This is photography that is my strongest skill. Motorsports, spent 2.5 years practicing my panning skills over 84 weekends at my local track. This shot was not at my local track, was taken at Silverstone for WEC and is one of the support races. What I personally love about this shot is that it shows the workings of the Aerodynamics from the strong heat haze from the track. The driver of the car, sponsor and the team loved this photo they got in touch and now licences the photo from me

Holy shit that pan is cripsy. You say you spent two years working on your pans, was there any trick to your practice or just volume? I posted my best pan a few pages back and it's no where close to your shot, but I'm really proud of it (only crisp shot in about a thousand attempts lol). In another life, given no restrictions, I think I'd want to be a motorsports photographer. It looks like an incredibly challenging vocation, but it feels unlike any other type of photography out there. Completely unique, I love it.

Edit: I just looked up how much the Sigma 150-600 weighs, god damn man you did that hand held?

In the before times, I went with my buddy to the airport to shoot at golden hour. Totally worth the $7 in parking at the very least to watch the planes. I like this shot because it almost feels like a landscape shot, but of the modern concrete jungle instead of the more traditional nature. That and the Arizona sun around 6PM is McGorgeous. Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 24-105 F4L IS USM, 24mm, 1/160", f/4.0, ISO 200.

Is that a playstation CPU? I'd maybe have gone to f/8 to get more of the details around the chip in focus, otherwise don't have much to complain about :)

Always nice to look up the bottom of a GSW. Light is lovely.

Here is my shot of a wild Kestrel that came very close in a local park. Was so fortunate to get such a dark background of the woods behind.

That reflection in the Eye is something very interesting.
I can't quite pin point to what makes the head slightly blurry. If it is just the rooster moving, or the camera having the focus plane to far or to close.

The Camera is a Canon M3, with the Kit Lens,
At F5.6, 1/80s, ISO 6400, 17mm

That disco ball in the center just makes it look complete. I’m not that good at photography but I’d say 9/10!

The one I took was just with my iPhone X but I thought it looked cool so I might as well show it.

Great picture ZonalThrone, I really like the composition and I think B&W was a good choice here. For something shot on a mobile device it's impressive ! The only thing I would change is the vignetting, I don't know if you put it in post, but if so you just take it back a tiny bit (in my opinion at least).

I really like landscape photography myself, here's a shot I made this summer in the french Alps with my Canon A1 (I mostly shoot film)

That is just a great photo Aranwe.
From the almost at golden Ration Boulder, to the diagonal stacking of sightlines. That is just something great.
I especially like the hexagonal lensflare. And the slightly grainy background.
May i ask, which mountain is in that picture?

I've got something from the place the last picture was from. But way above in the blue of the ceiling.

You know, i miss those events. It was always a long and labourous process to make them work. But in the End you could stand there, look up and be amazed by all the interactions of light, that are going on.
Let's hope, that that will come back some time soon.

one would say your lens is "under the knife". they say a picture is worth 1000 words. i can already tell you seem to like knives. looking at the blade it seems used. this could mean your the outdorsy type. you like carving things or your the utility type of person who likes to keep a knife handy for all those daily tasks. i also see you shoot cannon and possibly some street or portrait photography with your nifty 50. subject is well framed and posed in an interesting way. background is a bit busy and also blown out in areas. 7/10

Ok first of all if I had taken the shot on the other side of that countertop I would be shooting in a very dark room.

Second that knife is about 2 months old in that pic and I got that knife because of this.
